(((((SOUND)))))
join me at Land + Sky this saturday, october 10th for site-specific installations, performances, and a concert on the lawn.

drawing from the natural beauty, engineered symmetries, and military-industrial wilds of the LA Basin, "tended symmetries is a site-specific sound installation that maps the unseen architectures of the working landscape.

Installed within the historic barn at Rancho Santa Clara del Norte, the piece explores the acoustic edges where organic pattern meets deliberate human care—weaving multi-channel rhythmic sound arrays, immersive field recordings, and spatial resonance to illuminate the ecotones of ranch and garden where stewardship and care meets natural order.

PASTORAL APOGEE - 5'H x 10'W - Ink, Acrylic, Graphite on Yupo. This painting explores how we observe, survey, map, and sense our connection to place in a changing climate. Inspired by recent changes in the soundscapes of Point Reyes National Seashore, as 16,000 acres of dairy land are being rezoned as conservation land. created at the Lucid Art Foundation and currently on display at The Confluence: Art In Twisp .

happiness is a successful hoist and recovery of your audio recording gear! we slung a pulley and ran a rope approx 90 ft up in the canopy of an old growth doug fir and let the mics listen all night long- suspended in the canopy - for three consecutive nights. amazing sounds!recordings to follow. that's an eqpd gear haul bag keepin' everything together!
