Le Noir de la Mare ( El Hijo de la madre) es un villancico o canción tradicional catalana de Navidad y también una canción de cuna. De autor anónimo y origen incierto, de la cual se han hecho y se conservan varias versiones.
"La canción se hizo famosa fuera de España gracias a Andrés Segovia, quien solía interpretar la transcripción para guitarra de Miguel Llobet como final de cada concierto."

"Le Noir de la Mare (The Son of the Mother) is a traditional Catalan Christmas carol or lullaby. Its author is anonymous and its origin is uncertain, with several versions having been made and preserved."
The song was made famous outside Spain by Andrés Segovia who used to perform Miguel Llobet's guitar transcription as an encore.
