We’ve Been Busy Busy!

Things have been a little busy around here lately. Okay… very busy.

Our framing department has been especially busy, with lots of new faces bringing in their artwork for custom framing. We’ve loved seeing all the projects coming through the doors!

From years of wear to a beautifully refreshed lithograph!

When a client entrusted us with Elizabeth Catlett’s “Mujer Cocinando”, the paper had significant discoloration and spotting along with a damaged bottom-left corner.

Just look at the difference! Our conservators carefully restored the paper to its original glory. You can now see all the definition and details on this brightened paper.

What’s better than finding 1 oil painting by Jim Wodark that you love?... Finding and taking home 3 for your mountain home!

These new collectors came to us in search of Western-inspired artwork and as luck would have it, Jim was here at the same time! Meeting the artist was just the cherry on the cake. They love Jim’s work so much that we are commissioning a large work for them!

A great mix of art, all “Under One Roof”!

This collaborative exhibition and boutique-style art fair at Coastline College Art Gallery brings together galleries, nonprofit spaces, and artist co-operatives from across Southern California.

We’re excited to be part of the exhibition with artwork from 5 artists in our stable. Works by Jason Li, Pete Roberts, Ernie Romo, Kim VanDerHoek, and Jim Wodark. All works in the exhibition are available for purchase.

The exhibition runs Wed. August 26–November 6, with receptions on September 19 and October 24 from 5–7p. We’re looking forward to seeing it all come together!

Expect the unexpected!

This groovy frame and poster now live in perfect harmony. Sure, we could have paired this poster with a simple black frame or something more understated—but where’s the fun in that?

The frame’s rippled texture and shiny silver finish make the poster pop, with a look that feels almost inspired by lava lamps. It’s a playful pairing that leans into the retro, psychedelic feel of the festival it celebrates.
