Art Camps started this week! 🥳👏🏻❤️ On our first day of the “Play with Clay” camp the kids made hand dishes from their hand with henna style designs… and some clay paintbrushes! (Pictures of the dried and painted projects coming later this week). The kids learned how to properly utilize water when working with clay and experienced handling sculpting & cutting tools and rolling pins! Who knew the process for getting the clay ready to work with is so messy and challenging! 😂 Its all about finding the balance between not to wet and not to dry…✋🏻✋🏽✋🏾✋🏿✋🏼☺️🌟

We all had such a fun time last night! 😆🌟🎨🖌It was interesting and different to start with the vibrant underpainting and then add the darkest places on top! ….We were all amazed that this much variety of color could be made with such a simple pallet of colors: titanium oxide, magenta, forest green, yellow and white!
