Tushka Tigers Scoreboard the Tushka Tigers High School Mario Kart Team was invited and will be going to !!!

We are happy to finally announce some big news. Through a collaborative effort with Texsef and the Interstate Scholastic Esports Association- Oklahoma Scholastic Esports is going to Dreamhack for the first ever Southern Showdown. This event will be the best schools in Oklahoma vs the best schools in Texas. If you will be attending Dreamhack come stop by the free play area where we will be staged and cheer on Team Oklahoma!

Though a combination of qualifiers and a selection process: below are the all the schools going to represent our state across 6 different titles. The games included for this event are Smash Brothers, Rocket League, Valorant, Overwatch, Mario Kart, and League of Legends. If you see your school- tag them in the comments!

At 10am 3 of our Tigers will face off against 92 of the top Super Smash Bros. Players in the state to see who will be crowned champion!!

Congratulations to the Tushka Tigers Middle School Esports teams who will be competing at SWOSU December 6th and 7th. Representing the home team is the Tushka Pokémon Team: Si Billy, Greyson Davis, Kaiden Hendrix, Parker Fuller, Tucker James, and Jet Scroggins. They will play for the gold trophy vs Blackwell.
For Super Smash Bros. ranked Hayden Elliot and # 27th ranked Jackson Self out of 174 will compeate with the top 50 to see who will take the gold.

Tushka Tigers High School Esports Team Middle School Playoff Report

Underdogs Run Rampant as Tushka Heads to State!!!

The Tushka Tigers Middle School teams compeated in the Oklahoma Scholastic Esports (OKSE) Fall Playoffs Saturday November 9th.
In Rocket League, the undefeated regular season #2 Tushka Tigers Delta Team found themselves behind the 8 ball as they faced #15 seed Blair. After scoring on the kick off, Blair would kick in the overdrive beating Tushka 5-1 in the 1st of a best of 5 match. Tushka would play catch up for the rest of the games but could never find an answer to Blair. The Tigers would lose the contest 3-1,and would be eliminated from the playoffs. Tushka Delta would end the fall season with a 9-1 record.

In EA College Football Tushka would be the comeback kid.... #7 seed Jet Scroggins would face #10 seed Hugo and would trade leads back and forth during the contest. Jet would capitalize on a Hugo missed 2 point conversion to win round 1 48-47 in overtime. He would then face #2 seed Davis. After a close 1st half, Tushka would take advantage of some turnovers and take a solid lead defeating the #2 seed 41-28. In the semi final round Tushka would dominate everything but the score in the 1st half against #3 seed Cyril. After a turn over and a kick return for touchdown, Cyril would head into the 2nd half with a 14-0 lead. With less than 55 seconds left in game, Tushka would score forcing Cyril into an overtime situation. The Tigers would get the ball first, but would settle for a field goal. Cyril would get stopped on 3 downs, but instead of a field goal, they went for it on 4th and would score a touchdown ending the Tigers chance at state 27-24. Jet would end his fall season with a 9-3 record.
In Pokémon Unite, underdog Tushka would defeat Davis in round 1 and face the undefeated #1 Henryetta Pokémon Team. The Tigers would lose round 1 of 3: 602-348. After a quick rally by Assistant Coach Colton Jones, the Tigers would battle back and win round 2. In the last and final round, it was all Tigers as Tushka scored first and never looked back. Tushka would defeat Henryetta 2-1. This win sends Tushka to Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford on December 6th. The Tigers will face the number 2 seed Blackwell for the OKSE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!

Tushka Tigers High School Esports Team Field Report

Middle School Round 3

The Tushka Middle School compleated their final round of the regular season in the Oklahoma Scholastic Esports (OKSE) League.

In EA College Football, #8 Jet Scroggins trounced #14 Riverside 49-14. He also faced #20 Canute and defeated the Trojans 42-0. This moves him up one spot to #7, and he finishes his regular season with a 7-2 record.

In Pokémon Unite, the Tigers faced some stiff competition. #6 Tushka pulled off a close win over #5 Davis. They would then face #1 Blackwell. Tushka would throw everything they had at them.. but would come up short in the contest. The Tigers Pokémon Team ends their season with a 5-4 record.

In Rocket League The Tushka Tigers Delta team had an amazing day. #20 Olustee-ElDorado would face off against the #5 Tushka Delta team. Tushka would win the best of 3 series (10-0, and 9-0). The main event would come from the highly anticipated match up between #11 Atoka vs # Tushka. The Tigers would score on the opening kickoff and wouldn't look back beating the Wampus Cats 5-1. In game 2, Atoka would rally and take advantage of some mistakes made by the Tigers and would win game 2: 2-1. In game 3 Tushka regrouped and would shut out the Wampus Cats 4-0. Tushka would end their regular season with a perfect 9-0 and ranked 2nd in the league.

PLAYOFFS!!!

Three of the middle school teams qualified for playoffs in the OKSE league.

For Pokémon Unite: Tushka is the 4th out of 5 seed in the playoffs bracket. They will face Davis this Saturday in round 1.

EA College Football: Jet has earned the #7 seed and will face #10 Hugo in round 1 of 3 for state.

Rocket League: Tushka Delta as earned the #2 seed in playoffs and will have a bye in round 1 of 4. They will play the winner of #15 Blair and #18 Gracemont.

Winners will advance in this single elimination event, with the top 2 teams battling it out live and in person at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) in December.

Tushka Tigers High School Esports Team Field Report Saturday October 26th

The High School Esports Team completed their 2nd round of games in the regular 2040 fall season.

NCAA College Football
In Football, the Tigers had mixed results. Middle School player #9 Jet Scroggins had a decisive win over #8 Roff. The next game vs #2 Macomb saw the Tigers on the wrong side of a lopsided game. The Tigers would lose that one 48-14. For round 3, #9 Tushka would face the other #2 ranked high school team Davis. Tushka would quickly fall behind in the first half, but would slowly claw their way back and force Davis into an overtime situation. Tushka with the ball first would have to settle for a field goal, forcing Davis to go for the touchdown. Davis would accomplish that winning over Tushka 51-48 OT.

Street Fighter 6
Halloween was in full swing as the Tiger SF6 teams recieved lots of treats from the league. Most of the players recieved forefeits from other teams. #6 ranked Tucker James would struggle and get the tricks in his games dropping to #8 with a 2-5 record. #4 Coapen Stephen would take advantage of 2 forefits and stay in the 4th spot with a 5-1 record. Parker Fuller would also get a treat with a pair of forefeits and keep his #3 rank. #2 Homata Betsey and top ranked #1 Tripp Walker would also get treated from some forefeits and keep their rankings.

The Finals
The Tushka Tigers Finals team placed their #1 ranking on the line as they faced #1 Buffalo Valley. Despite a strong start, the Tigers (Conner Boren, Tripp Walker, Will Holt, Homata Betsey, and Jackson Self) would come up on the short side dropping to 3rd overall in the region.

Rocket League
The Tushka Rocket League teams Alpha and Bravo saw huge successes. Team Bravo, made up of middle school players Parker Fuller, Kaiden Hendrix, and Greyson Davis got their first win over Macomb. This ended their 8 game losing streak.
#4 Tushka Tigers Alpha (Tripp Walker, Homata Betsey, and Si Billy) would soundly defeat #2 Roff in game 1: 3-1 and 4-3 in game 2 winning the best of 3. Things kept rolling on for the Tigers. They would defeat #11 Talihina 5-0, and 5-2. And would recieve a forefit win over #9 Mill Creek. This gives the Tigers a 5-1 record for the season and Tushka moves up two spots to tie Atoka at #2.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Qualifier #2
The Tiger High School and Middle School Smash teams traveled to Webber's Falls Monday to compete in the second league qualifer. Highlights from the middle school games saw Jackson Self finishing 7th and Hayden Elliot finishing 5th out of 32 competators.
Tushka would score a school record in the high school division. Out of 75 players, Tripp Walker would place a personal best rank of 9th while Conner Boren would place 3rd over all, the highest ever a Tushka High School player has ever achieved in high school smash.

Further Out
The middle school esports teams will have their 3rd and final rounds of league play this Saturday November 2nd. Every win counts as the Middle School has some teams vying for playoff consideration.

Tushka Tigers High School Esports Team Middle School Field Report: Saturday the Tushka Tiger Middle School Teams competed in Round 2 of the Oklahoma Scholastic Esports (OKSE) League.

In Pokémon Unite:
#7 Tushka was given a gift of a forefit from a team that disbanded. They spilt their other 2 games losing to #8 Commerce 602-348, but after a 10 minute re evaluations team members Parker Fuller, Si Billy, Greyson Davis, Jet Scroggins, and Kaiden Hendrix rallied and dominated #5 Henryetta 637-316. The Tigers improve to 4-3 for the season, and they tie with Davis Middle School ranking in the league.

In NCAA College Football:
#20 Parker Fuller gets two easy wins by forefeit over Davis and Commerce 2 teams. Unfortunately he struggled early against #10 Thomas from Davis. Despite having a solid defense, Thomas wore down Parker's defense and kept him off the field with long drives defeating Tushka 42-6. With the 2 forefeits Parker improves to 3-3 for the season and ranks #18 in the league.
#12 Jet Scroggins drew short stick, and had to play all 3 of his games. He faced his toughest opponent #4 Cason from Webber's Falls. Cason scored on the opening drive and never looked back, Jet was able to keep the game respectable, but ended on the short side losing 18-28. In Game 2 vs #13 Konawa, Jet would take charge and put the game away early in the 4th quarter defeating #13 Konawa 28-20. In his last game of the day... Jet would face another team tied for the #13 spot. This one was from Riverside. The number 13 would prove to be unlucky for Riverside, but very lucky for Jet as he would dominate the game 36-8. Jet advances to #8 in the league with a 4-2 record.

In Rocket League:

Tushka Echo team drops 3 in a row vs #23 Haskell, Blair, and #12 Cheyenne. Team Echo, playing only 2 in a 3 player game was not able to capitalize on some momentum early when they won a set vs #12 Cheyenne. They couldn't overcome being a player shortband would lose the best of 3: 2-1. Team Echo drops to 0-6 for the season, but is ranked #32 out of 44 due to not having any forefits. October is typically a busy time for the league, with other sports and events taking place, a lot of schools end up forfeitting many games in this month which automatically knocks them out of playoff consideration. Every game counts.

For #12 Tushka Delta, they had a dominate win over Haskell 3 team, winning 2 sets: 9-3, and 5-2. They then revieved a win by forefit from Trinity Middle School. But the highlight was the battle against #6 Canute Circuit Breakers. Tushka would win game 1: 3-2. But #6 Canute would rally and take game 2: 2-1 forcing a game 3. Team members Parker Fuller, Si Billy and Greyson Davis would dig deep and give all they had and would come out on top 3-2. Tushka Delta's record stays perfect at 6-0 and the team advances to #4 in the league. They are in a perfect spot for playoff consideration. If the Tigers can win out in November, they will qualify for playoffs in December and a chance for Gold or Silver.

In other news:
The high school will play their round 2 games Saturday October 26th. The high school league is divided into 4 regions and Tushka is in the Southeast Region.

In NCAA College Football: Tushka has 2 ranked teams: #11 Parker and # 9 Jet. Both of them will face tough competition as they play the #1 Konawa and #2 Macomb

In Rocket League: #9 Tushka Bravo and #4 Tushka Alpha will both face #2 Roff.

In The Finals: #1 Tushka will face a double header vs #1 Buffalo Valley, who ever wins those 2 games, should be in the driver's seat for state playoffs.

In Street Fighter 6: Tushka is dominating the SE Region. Will #1 Tripp Walker stay perfect and in control of the region? Will #2 Homata Betsey, #3 Parker Fuller, #4 Coapen Stephen and #6 Tucker James keep their spots or take advantages of their opponents and challenge Tripp for supremacy?

Monday October 28th the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate teams will travel to Webber's Falls for qualifier #2. The more points earned, the greater the chance for playoff consideration as the competition moves into phase two....

This Saturday, the Tushka Tigers Middle School will compete in Round 2 of the Oklahoma Scholastic Esports Scissortail Season. We will be providing coverage of our Rocket League games featuring the epic show down between #6 Canute vs #12 Tushka Delta. Can Tushka pull off the upset? Join us as we cast our Pokémon Unite games and cheer as our #7 Tigers face off in a double header vs #5 Henryetta 2 and #8 Commerce 1. Will the Tigers catch these Pokémon trainers sleeping or will they themselves get caught? We will end the day with NCAA College Football with coverage and commentary as # 12 ranked Jett Scroggins faces #4 Webber's Falls, #13 Konawa and #13 Riverside. Can he survive the ranked gauntlet? We will also provide updates to #20 ranked Parker Fuller's games including his match vs #10 Davis. Games will be streamed Saturday starting at 8am.....Go Tigers!!!
