The Art of: Herbal Pampering, A Workshop Series
Join Summer McCreless, second-generation herbalist and owner of Mothering Herbs, for a two-part hands-on workshop series exploring herbal self-care, natural remedies, and practical plant knowledge.
On July 7th she will lead "Herbs: Infused Oils, Balms, and Lotions". Participants will learn how to create herbal infused oils for culinary and topical use, along with balms, salves, and lotions using regional plants and beneficial oils. Guests will gain practical knowledge on selecting herbs and oils while creating recipes to continue at home.
On July 14th she will lead: "Herbal Pampering: Baths, Scrubs, Teas, Masks, Steams & More". Participants will explore how to blend herbs and natural ingredients to create relaxing herbal baths, scrubs, facial masks, steams, teas, and other wellness products for everyday use.
Guests may purchase a ticket to attend one workshop for $30 or save $10 and enjoy both evenings for $50. All herbs and workshop materials will be provided, and each participant will leave with recipes and practical skills to continue creating herbal products at home.
Instructor: Summer McCreless has practiced herbalism for more than 18 years and brings over 25 years of experience in plant identification, herbal education, and regional plant uses throughout North Alabama.
