As a co-sponsor of the Class of 2027, I would like to announce our upcoming fundraiser, which will be hosted on the Kansas CUSD3 Schools page.

We will be uploading a "Prize Board" as seen below with 100 spots on it. Between March 11th and March 22nd, you will be able to "buy" a spot (or multiple spots) for $20 each. All you have to do is comment ON THE OFFICIAL POST ON THE SCHOOL'S OFFICIAL PAGE and say which spot(s) you would like to purchase, then submit your payment to the school office.

Certain spots will have prizes "attached" to them. For example, if you are the FIRST PERSON to comment (ONLY ON THE OFFICIAL POST ON THE SCHOOL'S OFFICIAL PAGE) that you want Spot #20 and follow through with your payment, you will receive the prize that is assigned to that spot after the fundraiser concludes on the 22nd. Be advised, though, that not every spot is a "winner." With that being said, the students and I have reached out to MANY area businesses for gift certificates and/or donations, and some of the prizes are pretty cool!

So, stay tuned to the school's official page, and you'll see the post on Monday, March 11th. We encourage everyone to participate and share the word with all of their friends, family, and neighbors. The Class of 2027 and I thank you in advance for your support!

Our last Acoustic Jam was this afternoon, and I’m thankful for two things.

1. I’m thankful for everyone who attended today and at any previous jam. I’ve met a lot of great people and excellent musicians.

2. I’m even more thankful that today’s jammers have decided to keep the jam going!!! If you couldn’t make it today and would like to be “in the loop” about future jams, send me your email address, and I’ll pass it on to my successors.

Oh . . . a third thing popped in my head. I’m thankful for Flesor’s Candy Kitchen for hosting us today!
