🎭✨ ANNOUNCING OUR 2026 CHICAGO: TEEN EDITION CHOREOGRAPHY TEAM ✨🎭

Please help us congratulate the incredible students who will be leading choreography for this year’s production of Chicago: Teen Edition! These students demonstrated not only strong dance ability, but also creativity, leadership, teaching skills, and a true understanding of storytelling through movement.

We are so excited to see the talent, energy, and vision this team brings to the stage as we begin building the world of Chicago! Congratulations to these students for stepping into leadership roles and helping shape what is sure to be an unforgettable production.

STATE THEATRICAL DESIGN 2026

We are SO incredibly proud of our Jim Ned High School Theatre students today! Out of schools from across the entire state of Texas, our Group Design team earned 4TH PLACE AT STATE!

Congratulations to Hannah G., Lexi B., Evan D., and Ava C. on an incredible accomplishment and an absolutely amazing year. Your creativity, hard work, teamwork, and dedication continue to make us proud every single day.

A huge shoutout as well to Sam A. and Michele B., who represented Jim Ned so well in their events — especially as first-year state competitors! The future is so bright for this program.

These students have worked tirelessly for months, and today they stood among the best in Texas. Thank you to everyone who has supported our theatre department this year.

Our Jim Ned Theatre students are officially headed into the UIL State Theatrical Design Awards Ceremony beginning at 3:00 PM!

These students have worked incredibly hard throughout this entire process — countless hours of research, collaboration, revisions, presentations, and creativity all led to this moment. We could not be more proud of the dedication, professionalism, and heart they have shown representing Jim Ned on the state level.

No matter the results today, this team has already accomplished something truly special.

Verification complete ✔️

Today our Jim Ned Theatre students completed verification for the UIL State Theatrical Design Competition, and we could not be more proud of the work they brought to Austin this year. Months of creativity, research, collaboration, revisions, and hard work are officially on display at the STATE level.

Tomorrow is competition day, and these students have already represented our program with professionalism, passion, and heart.

No matter what happens tomorrow, they’ve already accomplished something incredible by making it this far. We are so proud of each of them and the countless hours they poured into these designs.
