Tell me something closer than a brotherhood of marines. We live like soldiers, talk live sailors; but we’ll slap the s**t out of both of them. We stole the eagle from the air force, the rope from the army and the anchor from the navy, and on the 7th days, while God rested, we overran the perimeter and we’ve been running the show ever since. Warrior by day, lover by night, drunkard by choice, Marine by God.

There’s so many memories that fade unless jogged. This was such an important time in my life, and I would do it over and over again. No one can understand the type of bond that is formed, the lessons that are learned, and the love for human life that is earned., without first going through the same experience. The one thing I will never forget is all the brothers who had my back when things were rough and I hope I was able to do the same. Happy Birthday bros. Also double holiday so thank you for your service 😌
