Dance Alabama

Dance Alabama Dance Alabama! is an organization at The University of Alabama that produces student choreographed dance shows! In addition to dancing, Dance Alabama!

puts on two shows a year, in the Fall and Spring semesters. Each semester there is a process of auditions for student choreographers to select fellow students for their own dance pieces. There are also weekly adjudications run by UA dance faculty to select the final show list. is also involved in community service, puts on social events, and is dedicated to spreading dance throughout the campus and Tuscaloosa!

Last, but certainly not least, in our 2026–2027 Executive Board Introductions, we have our phenomenal President, Addie Pridemore! 💜 Now entering her third year on the Executive Board, Addie brings so much experience, passion, dedication, and love for this organization into her role as President. We’re so lucky to have her leading DA! this year and can’t wait to see everything our organization accomplishes under her leadership!

Addie Pridemore is a first-year graduate student working towards her MBA and MFA in Arts Management. Her favorite part of DA! is the sense of family and home it has created for her in Tuscaloosa. Coming back to school and seeing all of her best friends at DA! Day is one of her favorite feelings, and she hopes to foster an environment where every member can find that same sense of belonging. Dance Alabama! has truly become a home for Addie at UA, and she is incredibly grateful for the friendships, experiences, and memories the organization has given her. This year, she is honored to serve as President and is excited to give back to a community that has given her so much, while helping create a welcoming and meaningful home for the members who come after her.

Keeping our 2026–2027 Executive Board Introductions going, we have our thoughtful Vice President, Hardy Vance! 💜 We’re so excited to have Hardy helping lead DA! this year and bringing her experience and dedication to the organization!

Hardy has been a member of DA! for the past four years and has served on the Dance Alabama Executive Board for the past two. Throughout her time in the organization, she has cherished all of the memories, friendships, and experiences she has made along the way. One of her favorite parts of DA! is getting to meet and dance alongside so many talented and inspiring people! She is so excited to serve as Vice President this year and can’t wait to watch our organization continue to grow, create, and make an impact on our community!

Carrying on our 2026-2027 Executive Board Introductions we have our wonderful Secretary, Chad! 💜 We’re so excited to have Chad serving on our Executive Board this year and helping keep DA! organized, connected, and ready for everything ahead!

Chad Bynum is a Junior at UA majoring in Computer Science. Originally from Brandon Mississippi, Chad did showchoir throughout middle school and high school where he discovered his love for dance.

Chad has been involved in Dance Alabama! since his freshman year at UA. He has danced in 3 showcases and loved every minute of the process. His favorite part of DA! is meeting new people to make friends with. He truly fell in love with the community of this organization and loves to connect with the people in it.

Chad is honored to serves as this year’s Secretary of Dance Alabama! and cannot wait to help this organization grow. He wants to help make others feel just as welcome here as he did his freshman year.

Lily Baker is a sophomore at The University of Alabama, double majoring in Dance & Kinesiology. At UA, Lily Baker is a passionate member of Dance Alabama! and served on the Spring Production Committee during her freshman year. She is so excited to give back to an organization that has given her so much by serving as Treasurer for the 2026–2027 season! She hopes to foster transparency, support the dancers, and help showcase all that Dance Alabama! has to offer.

Lucas Brazier is a Junior from Long Island, New York. He is majoring in General Business with a minor in Real Estate, and Stage Management. Erin Sharp is a senior at The University of Alabama. Since coming to Alabama, DA! has become one of the most rewarding parts of her college experience, allowing her to grow as both a dancer and leader while making lifelong friendships and memories along the way. Carrying on our 2026–2027 Executive Board introductions with our radiant Social Media Coordinator, Alyse McCall! 💜 We’re so excited to see her bring her own creative touch to DA!’s social media this year!!

Alyse McCall is a junior at UA from Madison, Alabama, majoring in Marketing with a minor in Advertising and Public Relations. She joined Dance Alabama! during the spring semester of her freshman year and has performed in every DA! show since. Throughout her time in the organization, some of her favorite memories have come from the friendships and connections she has made with people who share the same love for dance.

Alyse is so excited to serve as Social Media Coordinator this year and use her creativity to showcase the diversity, relationships, and community that make Dance Alabama! so special. She hopes to give people a look beyond the performances by highlighting the personalities, experiences, and connections that make DA! what it is. Most of all, she wants the organization’s social media to be a place where every member can see themselves represented and where others can discover everything Dance Alabama! has to offer.

Katy is a senior from Denver, Colorado majoring in Dance with a minor in Communication Studies. She loves all things creative and is so excited to step into her role as Marketing Manager. During her time at UA, Katy has performed in a number of DA! productions as well as serving on Dance Alabama!’s Production Committee for two semesters. Katy has found the sweetest community in DA!, people who cheer for her both onstage and off. She is so thrilled to represent and serve an organization that means so much to her.

Next up in our 2026–2027 Executive Board introductions is our amazing Historian, Lauren Cornejo! 💜 We’re so excited to have her capturing all of the special moments and memories DA! has in store this year!!

Lauren Cornejo is a junior Dance major with a minor in Creative Writing from Houston, Texas. She is so excited to serve as the Historian for Dance Alabama! Her favorite part of DA! is the friendships that are made throughout rehearsals and shows. Lauren has met so many of her closest friends through this organization and is incredibly grateful for the memories and connections she’s made along the way. She can’t wait to make even more memories, meet new people, and build even more friendships this year with DA!
