🤩🎨🎭 Over on my personal social media pages, some of you may have seen that I have accepted a new job as the Director of Education for the The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa If you have not heard, I am more than honored to be working with some of the finest creatives getting arts into the hands, minds, hearts and ears of our community.

Many of you are wondering what is going on with the Art Garage. The Art Garage is still very much a fully mobile art experience. We are still accepting clients events and able to continue doing most of what the Mobile Art Garage has done over the past two years since closing our storefront.

A lot of people have asked me what is going on with the Art Garage this summer. Though I am slowing down for sure(as I hope many of you are as well), I am not entirely unreachable. I am happy to host painting events in your backyards, come visit your summer programs, etc.

Also, many of you know that I am not only a teaching artist, but a commissioned artist as well. Clients have kindly asked me to watercolor paint their pups, their families, their homes, etc. I have tried to capture special memories and places for so many people and I would be happy to paint something for you!

Lastly, many of you may want to learn how to watercolor yourself. I am overjoyed at being asked to host a watercolor workshop at Lorrie Lane art studio on June 9th 1-4pm. If you would like get out of the sun into the AC, take a 1/2 at work, leave the kids during naptime, etc, I'd love you to join me. Come stretch your creative muscles...you have some, I promise.
