When your WHOLE FAMILY comes SHARP 😩

Y'all before Lisa made her grand entrance at her 50th, she took a moment with her family. Chuck and both of they children. Lisa in that GOLD DRESS with matching Jordans. Chuck and their son in ALL WHITE tuxes with GREEN ties. And let's not forget baby girl, coming through in her gold dress like mom.

Baaaby they wasn't playing y'all. The family said we DRESSING for our woman's day. Green and gold aesthetic executed PERFECTLY across every single person. Because when your mom or your wife turns 50, you show UP for her CELEBRATION.

This is what a family looks like when everybody buys in to somebody they love's big moment. Nobody dressed down. Everybody understood the assignment.

See, THIS is why I keep telling y'all to stop playing with the aunties. 😭😂🔥

We were at Lisa's 50th Sneaker Ball Gala, the Soul Train line was going, and “Doing the Butt” by Experience Unlimited came through the speakers.

These two ladies stepped up like...

“Oh, y'all want to see something?” 👀😂

And DOWN they went.

Not halfway.

Not a cute little bend.

Baby, they went LOW LOW. 😭😂

And the part that took me OUT?

THEY CAME RIGHT BACK UP! 🙌🏾😂

No assistance.

No grabbing somebody's shoulder.

No “Hold on, give me a minute.” 😭

Them knees said, “We've been training for this since the family reunions!” 😂🔥

That's that seasoned dance-floor experience right there.

When the right throwback comes on, the aunties don't need anybody teaching them a dance.

They don't need a tutorial.

They don't need to count the steps.

Their body hears the first few beats and says...

“Ohhhh, WE KNOW THIS ONE.” 😂

Lisa's 50th brought out a whole different level of auntie energy, and these two definitely understood the assignment.

Because getting LOW is one thing...

Getting back UP like nothing happened?!

THAT'S the flex. 😭😂🙌🏾

Let's settle this right now. 😂👇🏾

What's more impressive after 50:

A) Getting all the way down
B) Getting all the way back UP
C) Doing BOTH and never missing the beat 😭🔥

Let me take y'all back to the Etchison Wedding because apparently NOBODY was safe from that dance floor. 😭😂

Guests cutting up? Expected.

Wedding party getting LIT? Absolutely.

But SECURITY?!

Baby, that's when you know things have gotten serious. 😂

“No Hands” by Waka Flocka Flame came through those speakers, and our security guard must've heard the first few seconds and thought...

“Now hold on… THAT'S MY SONG.” 😭😂

Next thing you know, she came from behind her post and hit the floor with everybody else.

I said LOOK AT SECURITY! 😂🔥

And what makes these old wedding clips so good is seeing those random moments you could NEVER put on a timeline.

Nobody planned for security to join the party.

That's when you know the reception has reached another level.

When the people who came to WORK start looking at that dance floor like...

“I can give y'all about 30 seconds.” 😭😂

Security, vendors, bartenders, photographers... sometimes that ONE song will get everybody.

And apparently for her?

“No Hands” was the one. 😂🔥

If you were WORKING a wedding and your song came on, could you stay professional... or are you giving them a quick 30 seconds? 😭😂👇🏾

And if you had somebody working your wedding who eventually joined the party, TAG THEM! 😂

Okay y'all… we officially naming this young man JEEP MAN. 😭😂🚙

Because somewhere between pulling up to M&D Express and catching the vibe at the Big Sipz Mobile Tour, homie decided standing on the ground was no longer enough.

I looked over...

And this man had hopped on the HOOD of his Jeep. 😭😂

I said...

“Ohhhh, so we doing THIS now?!”

And baby, Jeep Man wasn't up there by himself just putting on a show.

His friends were right there with him.

Music blasting.

Everybody laughing.

Folks dancing around the Jeep.

And for those few minutes, they were just enjoying themselves right there in the middle of a gas station parking lot. 😂🔥

That's what made this Big Sipz stop so much fun.

People were pulling up who probably had NO intention of partying.

Somebody needed gas.

Somebody was headed into the store.

Somebody was probably just passing through.

Then they heard the music and suddenly...

Plans changed. 😂

That's how Jeep Man went from minding his business to becoming a whole CHARACTER on the DJ Lit page. 😭😂

And trust me...

We've got more of him.

Every friend group has ONE. 😭😂

Who's the friend that would hear their song and somehow end up dancing somewhere they had NO BUSINESS climbing?!

Okayyyy Lisa and Chuck… we SEE y'all! 😭😂🔥

Because when “Doing the Butt” by Experience Unlimited came through those speakers and these two stepped into the Soul Train line together...

Baby, I already knew we were about to get a MOMENT.

Lisa came through first with that birthday-girl energy...

And Chuck was right there matching her vibe. 😂👏🏾

And what I loved most was how natural it looked.

No trying to figure out what the other person was doing.

No “Wait, which way we going?” 😂

They were just locked in, dancing together and enjoying Lisa's big night.

That's the kind of couple energy I love catching at events.

Because sometimes love looks like flowers, romantic dinners and sweet words...

And sometimes love looks like your man jumping into the Soul Train line with you at your 50th Sneaker Gala and y'all hitting “Doing the Butt” together like it's nothing. 😭😂❤️

Lisa was absolutely the star of her night...

But having somebody beside you who's willing to celebrate you, laugh with you AND cut up with you?

Yeahhhh… that's a vibe all by itself. ❤️

Couples, I'm putting y'all on the spot. 👀😂

Listen… I don't know who looked at who first and decided this was a good idea. 😭😂

But the second “(I've Had) The Time of My Life” came through those speakers, Steve's boys took that song VERY literally.

At first, everybody was just singing and having a good time.

Then I noticed the fellas getting into position...

And I'm behind the DJ booth like...

“Hold on… y'all ain't about to do what I THINK y'all about to do.” 👀😂

Ohhhh, but they DID.

Baby, they recreated the Dirty Dancing lift right there in the middle of the wedding reception. 😭🙌🏾

And the commitment?!

That's what took me OUT. 😂

There was no halfway doing it.

They had a plan.

They had a lifter.

They had somebody willing to put their LIFE in the hands of their friends. 😭😂

And somehow, it turned into one of those completely random moments that everybody around them will probably remember more than something that was actually on the wedding timeline.

That's what makes a GOOD reception.

Not everything has to be planned.

Sometimes the right song comes on...

Your friends start cutting up...

Somebody gets lifted into the AIR...

And suddenly you've got a story that'll be told for YEARS. 😂🔥

Now I need to know who you trust. 😭😂👇🏾

All this man was trying to do was go inside the store. 😭😂

That's IT.

Walk into M&D Express...

Grab whatever he came for...

And keep it moving.

Simple, right?

Wellllll… apparently the music had other plans. 😂

We're outside for the Big Sipz Mobile Tour, music going, everybody vibing, and this young man starts making his way toward the store.

Then “Preach” hits the speakers.

BABY.

That trip inside came to a COMPLETE stop. 😭😂🔥

He caught that beat and started getting DOWN right there in the parking lot.

I'm talking about he couldn't even make it through the door first. 😂

And that's what made these Big Sipz moments so funny.

Everybody wasn't coming there expecting to party.

Some folks were literally just passing through, pumping gas, grabbing something from the store or driving down Paul Bryant Drive.

But when the right song caught them?

Plans changed. 😂🔥

Sometimes the music doesn't care where you're headed.

It just says...

“Before you go in there… give me a lil two-step real quick.” 😭😂

And my guy definitely answered the call.

Be honest… 😂👇🏾

You're walking into the store and the DJ outside suddenly plays YOUR SONG.

Are you:

A) Still going inside because I'm hungry 😂
B) Giving them a quick 10-second dance first 💃🏾
C) Forget them snacks… WHERE THE PARTY AT?! 😭🔥

Listen… there was entirely TOO much happening in this one little clip. 😭😂

We were outside for the Big Sipz Mobile Tour at M&D Express near the UA campus, and this young lady stepped up to do a little karaoke.

She gets on the mic...

“Low” by Flo Rida comes on...

And she's doing her thing. 🎤😂

Cool.

But then we pan the camera over and the ladies in front of the DJ booth are over there getting DOWN too.

So now I'm thinking, “Okayyyy… everybody caught the vibe.”

BUT WAIT. 😭

Because out of NOWHERE, a car pulls up...

Homie gets out dressed head-to-toe like an anime character...

AND STARTS DANCING AROUND THE CAR. 😭😂😂😂

At that point, I didn't know WHO I was supposed to be watching.

The karaoke?

The ladies dancing?

Anime homie?!

Baby, pick a storyline because we had THREE of them happening at the same time. 😂

And honestly, that's what made this Big Sipz stop so much fun.

When you take the music outside and bring the party to the street, you never really know who's gonna pull up, what they're gonna do or what kind of energy they're bringing with them.

You just turn the music up...

And let the people create the MOMENTS. 😂🔥

Now THIS is the kind of friendship you need at karaoke night. 😂🎤

Taking it back to this moment when these three friends decided nobody was getting left up there by themselves.

They grabbed those mics...

“I Wanna Dance with Somebody” by Whitney Houston came on...

And baby, it was officially THEIR concert. 😭😂

And you already know what happens when you pick a song like this.

At first, everybody else is just watching...

Then somebody at the table starts singing.

Another person joins in.

Next thing you know, the people who don't even HAVE microphones are singing louder than the folks on stage. 😂

That's what I love about karaoke.

You don't have to sound like Whitney.

You don't have to hit every note.

And you DEFINITELY don't need a record deal. 😭

You just need a couple of friends who are willing to grab a mic with you and enough confidence to sing like the whole room paid to see y'all perform. 😂🎤

And these three?

Ohhhh, they gave us a SHOW.

Because some songs are just too good to sing by yourself. ❤️

Now THIS is when I knew Lisa’s people came ready to PARTY. 😭😂🔥

Normally when somebody says the food is ready, that dance floor clears OUT.

Folks start making plates.

Finding their seats.

Getting comfortable.

But Lisa’s crew?

Baby… apparently dinner could WAIT. 😂

The music was hitting and folks were still out there moving like we hadn’t just announced it was time to eat.

Hands in the air.

Hips moving.

Folks dancing around the tables.

And every time I thought, “Okay, NOW they’re about to go fix a plate…”

Nope.

Another song came on and somebody was right back at it. 😭😂

I said, “Ohhhh… so THIS the type of crowd we working with tonight?!”

And I wasn't mad at it AT ALL.

Because when you're celebrating 50 years of LIFE, surrounded by family and friends who genuinely came to celebrate YOU…

Sometimes that plate can sit there for a few more minutes. 😂🔥

Lisa said she wanted to celebrate BIG…

And her people definitely understood the assignment.

And trust me, y'all haven't seen NOTHING yet.
