BASIC INFO:
Location of Tupelo Maker’s Market: Fairpark in Tupelo,MS ( 71 E Troy St)
Date of market: May 4, 2019
Market hours: 10am-4pm
Rental cost of booth space: 20 bucks (non-refundable and non-transferrable)
Size of booth space: 10x10 (if you need a larger space than 10x10 you will need to rent 2 spaces)
Parking: There is FREE parking in Fairpark and behind City Hall
Set up time: You must be FULLY set up no later than 9:30am
Break down: Vendors must remain set up until market is over at 4pm, then you may begin break down.
MERCHANDISE AT TUPELO MAKER’S MARKET:
YES YOU CAN SELL IT! - Lovingly crafted or carefully curated items that are true to images and description given in your application are welcome to be sold. Homemade and homegrown food items are allowed as well, as long as the vendor has adhered to the MS Cottage Food Laws.
NOPE! - Vendors may not sell images that are copyrighted or any items that are not a true representation of what was agreed on in their application. Vendors may not display items with words or images that are not appropriate for a family friendly event (so ixnay on the profanitay and nuditay). Tupelo Maker’s Market reserves the right to deny any items being sold if we feel it is inappropriate in any way or does not meet the standards of Tupelo Maker’s Market.
LIABILITY: Tupelo Rocks, Tupelo Makers Market, the city of Tupelo, and Downtown Main Street Association will not be held responsible for any damages, theft, loss, or injury.
OTHER THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW IF YOUR NAME IS VENDOR:
1) Vendors are responsible for providing their own change, cc reader, bags, etc. for their customers.
2) PLEASE remember to bring everything you will need to fully complete a sale.
3) Vendors are also responsible for providing their own tables, displays, decoration, and anything needed to set up merchandise.
4) During the market vendors are responsible for having booth watched or manned at all times, it is not the responsibility of Tupelo Maker’s Market to babysit your booth.
5) Vendors are responsible for maintaining a clean booth area and cleaning their booth space before departure. All trash must be disposed of (trash cans provided) and any vendors who do not leave their booth space clean and clear are subject to a $20 fine
6) Please don’t cancel on us, we’re keeping the money either way, and if you don’t give us enough time to find another vendor it’s possible (depending on the situation) you may be banned from participating in future markets (we don’t wanna but we totally will). So show up and show us what ya got- everybody wins!
7) Fairpark is an uncovered area so tents are highly recommended!
8) MS Sales Tax (7.25%) must be collected on all purchases and must be turned into the Tupelo Maker’s Market. You will be given a form and envelope when you sign in. This is a MS state law for markets- promoter/operator is responsible for submitting sales tax on anything sold at the event.

(Adults assigned to children who break things are 100% responsible for damages.)
