Hey ! Who’s been to Gin's Tavern in Factoryville? We caught live music with Mike Mizwinski this weekend! 🎸

🫂 Their slogan is “Welcome to Gin’s, you’re a stranger but once!” We felt the love. Sydney was holding down the bar, Jewel & Co were working the tables! 🫂

⬇️ What do YOU recommend? It was a packed house, standing room only, so I didn’t eat. Everyone was really nice and enjoying themselves. The kitchen & bar were rockin’! The menu is BIG and looks great. What do we NEED to try? How are their burgers, their pizza, their BBQ? Tell us ⬇️

🥩 Gin’s has been serving the area since 1955! They suffered a devastating fire a few years, but rebuilt across the highway. The building is gorgeous! Lots of outdoor seating, big bar, big TV’s, & big booths for dining.

🍔 The food looked and smelled great, and the hospitality was top notch. Just a great overall visit. We will be back! 🙌🏼

Hey , checkin’ in from the old & the NEW Gin's Tavern in Factoryville! Gin’s has been feeding this area since 1955. They suffered a devastating fire a few years ago, but are rebuilt & rebranded! 🫂

🎶 Mike Mizwinski is playing & it is PACKED! MIZ is a NEPA native now living in Nashville, playing professionally and touring nationally. Everyone seems excited about his Homecoming! 🎶

Not sure we’ll eat as seats are at a premium, but will post the menu for sure!

🥩 Celebrating their 47th year, Marty’s has some of the best beef, produce & essentials around. They’ve been serving this community for decades! All kinds of custom cuts, like Ribeye, Porterhouse, Sirloin, but also other premium cuts like Brisket, Tri-tip, & Tenderloin. They have everything the home griller or smoker could want! Lindsey was really cool and will take GREAT care of you! 🥩

They have a second location at Lake Winola right across from Snapper's Bar and Grill, one of our go-to’s! 🐢

🏆 Great food, great people, & super busy, Germana's Pizzeria in Nicholson has it all! Tiffany, the owner, has been serving this community sandwiches, burgers, pizza, & tacos for 12 years & EVERYONE seems to love it! 🏆

🫂 Friends swear by this place, and we see why! A very nice family from Kentucky was eating outside, Josie behind the counter was super helpful, everyone was happy! 😃

The Jalapeno Poppers were a delicious surprise! A halved jalapeno, filled with a cream cheese blend, wrapped in bacon. 🥓

🥖 The cheesesteak was LOADED! Seasoned steak, cheese, onions, mushrooms, & peppers. This is the kind of cheesesteak you eat with ketchup, not marinara, in my opinion. It was great! 🥖

🌮 The soft tacos were PACKED with seasoned chicken, cheese, romaine, & pico! They came with chips, salsa, sour cream & queso, which was a nice touch. Very good! 🌮

BIG portions, BIG smiles, & BIG hearts are what you find at Germana’s in Nicholson. Make the trip up and say “hello” for yourselves!

Today brings us to the quaint village of Nicholson in Wyoming Cty!

We’re at Germana's Pizzeria on Main Street, & so far THIS is what’s happening in town! People out front, people inside, in & out nonstop.

We have friends who eat here A LOT and told us we need to try it, so we’re excited!

Our plain tray. 8 slices and 80 years of passed down goodness. It’s a simple dough: thin and airy so it gets crispy and holds well because we put a layer of sliced cheese (sliced in house at that) under our family recipe, savory sauce. It’s baked the way my grandparents baked it with most of the same equipment. Our plain tray represents our legacy and we’re so grateful you love it as much as we do. ❤️
