Avoid the “No-Zone” around large trucks because the drivers have little to no visibility.

Stay clear of blind spots - especially along the right side and directly behind the truck. At close range, hazards like road debris, tire blowouts, and sudden lane changes can become extremely dangerous. Give trucks plenty of space and position yourself where you can be clearly seen at all times.

Ask yourself constantly: “What’s my escape route?” Leave space in front of you, beside you, or behind you. Always remember you have the benefit of speed so twist the throttle to get out of any situations that make you feel uneasy.

Be hyperaware at intersections and avoid making assumptions.

Most motorcycle accidents happen at intersections! Cover your brakes, watch cross traffic wheels and never assume a car will stop - even at a red light.
