Soft Armor mood board is a visual study in duality— exploring the tension between softness and strength, intimacy and protection.

Featuring tactile materials like velvet, feathers, lace, and metallic draping, it draws from Black femme aesthetics and textile traditions to envision garments as both sanctuary and statement. The palette of blush, gold, deep red, and black evokes sensuality, resistance, and ritual, while the imagery reflects a lived connection to adornment, ancestry, and personal power.

This board sets the tone for an immersive performance and installation that reclaims slowness, vulnerability, and beauty as acts of defiance.
