"Obum was explosive, and Brock brought heart to two otherwise unlikable men. Their chemistry was electric. Both performers are insanely talented, and bringing them together on this hauntingly magnificent stage felt remarkable, and long overdue.

A special cameo by Michelle Cullom was the cherry on top. Beyond the acting, the lighting was alluring, and the script was absolutely gripping. There were biting lines that have stayed with me and quotes I wish I could pull from memory. Theatre North Tulsa presents Nat Turner in Jerusalem at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, a powerful two-person drama imagining the final night of Nat Turner as he confronts Thomas R. Gray, the man who recorded his words and helped shape his legacy. Written by Nathan Alan Davis and directed by Keith Daniels, the play explores faith, resistance, and the cost of telling the truth. Starring Obum Ukabam as Nat Turner and Brock Englund as Thomas R. Gray.
Performances run Feb 21 at 8pm, Feb 22 at 3pm, Feb 28 at 8pm, and Mar 1 at 3pm.
