“Wherever the Wind Takes Me”

I’m excited to finally share the finished image of this piece, photographed beautifully by Josh New.
Covered in preserved moss and capped with a dandelion head, the mannequin becomes a foundation for what was and a place for new growth. The dandelion seed head speaks to the possibility of a future and becoming something totally new and different. The moss provides contrast of being grounded and unlike a dandelion in any way: no seeds and no roots. The whole self goes beyond logical limitations.
