ABOUT THE SHOW
Trapped high in a tower with his father, Icarus longs for the freedom of the sky. His mother tried desperately to escape, and died, throwing Daedalus into a manic depression, sealing the tower’s only window.
But soon, Icarus finds an unlikely friend in the sun god, Apollo. They make plans to escape the tower, with Icarus building wings for the duo. Quickly, they are reminded of the past myths of flight- Phaethon and Helle -who have flown and failed. But maybe this time is different. Maybe this boy is different.
Feathered asks if it is more foolish to fly and fall or to never try at all. Will Icarus find the freedom he burns for? The answer is not what it seems. And perhaps, the wind whispers to those who follow it.
