Josie Lee Turrelle
Hometown: Tahlequah, Oklahoma
Josie made her drag debut appearance in 2002. Over the last 18 years she has been seen on stages from coast to coast. Most recently performing on a Northern California Tour. She is the primary sponsor and hostess for Tahlequah River Diversity, and is the hostess of Tahlequality, a chapter of Oklahomas for Equality which she helped start in 2014. She is the longest running entertainer for The N**e Art Show, the biggest erotic art event in Oklahoma. Josie has experience in all realms of drag, but what keeps her going, is her love for comedy and making people laugh. In 2019 she was crowned Miss Oklahoma Comedy Queen where she placed top 10 at Nationals in Orlando, Florida, and was most recently crowned the Miss Arkansas Comedy Queen Emeritus. She is an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, and can be seen regularly at local establishments in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she currently resides.
