Signature Symphony at TCC

As we near the end of an era, we invite you to join us for one last round of programming for the youngest members of our musical family with Wild Symphony, a journey of discovery and friendship celebrating a magical blend of storytelling, music, and visual art. Wild Symphony, by best-selling author Dan Brown (who also wrote The Da Vinci Code), is an interactive picture book and live concert experience detailing the adventures of Maestro Mouse and his companions from the animal kingdom, fusing family-friendly sounds and pithy poetry in an immersive experience for the whole family.

Signature Symphony will play a full Wild Symphony concert at the VanTrease PACE at 2:00 on Saturday, November 7th. We will also play several mini-concerts featuring string quartet around the community. Our public mini concerts will be:

• Friday, October 23rd, at Hardesty Library from 11am-noon (free)
• Sunday, October 25th, at Philbrook Museum of Art’s “PhilBOO” at from 9:30am-10:00am (included in PhilBOO admission)
• Sunday, October 25th, at Discovery Lab from 11:30am-12:30pm (free)
• Sunday, October 25th, at the VanTrease PACE from 2:00pm-4:00pm (free)

Tulsa Community College has announced that Signature Symphony at TCC will conclude following its 2026-2027 season. We are grateful to the musicians, patrons, donors, and community partners whose support has helped the Signature Symphony reach audiences across Tulsa for nearly 50 years. Tulsa Community College has announced the 2026-2027 season will be the final season for the Signature Symphony at TCC. The Signature Symphony was formed in 1978 and moved to TCC in 1996 as the professional orchestra-in-residence for TCC’s VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education.

Last evening, Greenwood Rising was honored to host Signature Symphony at TCC’s First Chair Society for their season kickoff reception!

We enjoyed hearing from Artistic Director Scott Seaton about the exciting performances planned for the upcoming season, including their first performance, New World, New Voices, coming up this Saturday, the 19th. Tickets for this performance are still available on VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education's website.

We’re grateful for Signature Symphony’s partnership and look forward to celebrating their incredible season ahead. Wishing the entire team a wonderful performance season!
