Possible Spoilers:
My experience with so far: We were rockin the post-apocalyptic Earth, had a good time. Touched the World Crystal and ended up on a planet that was lush and red with floating islands and a giant tree in the middle (felt a lot like Elden Ring). What was there? Te****le aliens, and some of them fly and will attach to you to suck your soul. Had a good time, found the statues that only follow you when you’re not looking (never figured out how to kill them). Worked our way through the ruins and aliens to the tree. Found stone creatures (literally blocks of stone with lights) and eventually found a boss version. Massive stone guardian, getting juiced by the biggest te****le alien we’ve seen so far. While the guardian attacks, the juicer stands back and blasts a laser that covers half the arena.
Got through there, went to the labyrinth to find the glowing eye (after of course fighting the giant cube that broke itself into several smaller cubes that fired energy blasts while trying to crush us and only servicing by hiding in the sides of the cubes that we blew open as they fell over to crush us). Supposedly this eye overseas the universe, and kidnapped our friend because somehow she can help. Cool, help the alien eyeball glowing thing hold the universe together. Where do we go next? The desert.
Through a portal of course, we wind up on a desert planet. With robots. With ghosts that possess the robots. With zombies and bugs. Oh, and it’s next to a black hole. Found one normal living thing, and guess what? He wants to fly the ship into the black hole. What ship? THE PLANET IS A SHIP.
Obviously we’re down. So we go find an elevator in the middle of the desert, take it down, and what do we find? A forest. A massive forest that dwarfs the redwood forest. And what’s in the trees? Robots. Robots that burrowed their way into the trees and fortified it military style. (Forgot the zombie part where the death ball with a gravity well followed us around, killing us and zombies, so we hid in a cryo chamber and getting killed/possessed by a zombie and had to go back and fight our own bodies).
Fought our way through, cleared multiple dungeons, and eventually found the surface again. Found another elevator, followed it to a small room with a reward. What else? A small crack in the wall. Where does it lead? Even further underneath the desert.
That’s where the sanity left.
And I didn’t even talk about the bugs.
