‼️ POP-UP CLASS SUNDAY ‼️ We've got Guest Instructor Faith Balderrama coming to the Temple to share COUNTERTECHNIQUE®.

This class is tailored for Contemporary dancers looking to deepen their skills and technique.

About Faith: Faith Balderrama is a professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor from Southern California. She graduated with a from Oral Roberts University in 2020 and moved to Chicago in 2022 to join South Chicago Dance Theatre. Performing three seasons with the company, she had the honor of working with Kia S. Smith, Terrence Marling, Noelle Kayser, Jackie Nowicki, Donald Byrd, Tsai Hsi Hung, Monique Haley, Kate Weare, Frank Chavez, and Joshua Blake Carter. Faith completed her Countertechnique® Teacher Certification in 2025 and teaches multiple classes in Chicago. As a choreographer, Faith was a recipient of a Chicago DCASE Individual Artist Program Grant in 2023, and is making work on company’s and programs in the Midwest. Faith currently freelances as a performer and choreographer in Chicago and dances with Little Fire Artist Collective and The Seldoms.
