A Cat on a Hot Tin Roof explores truth, desire, and the complexities of family under pressure. Set in the sultry South, the story unfolds over one tense evening as secrets, lies, and longings ignite in a battle for love and legacy. This production promises to be bold, intimate, and deeply human — a chance to challenge and showcase exceptional acting craft.

Audition Details
Dates: April 19th 2pm - 6pm
Location: WOMPA 3306 Charles Page Blvd. Ste. 285 Tulsa, OK 74127
Preparation: Prepare a dramatic monologue (2–3 minutes) that highlights emotional depth and intensity. Cold readings from the script may be requested.
Rehearsals: Tuesday - Friday

Roles Available
MARGARET (Maggie “the Cat”) – Fierce, intelligent, and passionate. A woman fighting for love and survival.
BRICK – A former athlete haunted by loss and guilt. Stoic yet vulnerable beneath the surface.
MAE (Sister Woman)– Ambitious and sharp-tongued, driven by family pride and rivalry.
GOOPER – Practical and calculating, the overlooked son seeking recognition.
BIG MAMA – Warm, emotional, and deeply loyal, yet struggling to face painful truths.
BIG DADDY – Commanding, charismatic, and brutally honest. A patriarch confronting mortality and deception.
REVEREND TOOKER – A well-meaning but opportunistic clergyman.
DOCTOR BAUGH – Compassionate and discreet, a man burdened by difficult truths.
THE CHILDREN – Energetic, mischievous, and full of life; represent the next generation of the Pollitt family.
THE SERVANTS – Loyal, observant, and ever-present; provide subtle insight into the household’s dynamics.
