Keri's Chronicles: Day 9 was really special. We went to Stonestreet Farm to meet Rachel Alexandra. A dream come true for me and an incredible experience. After that, we watched some great horse racing at the iconic Churchill Downs. The perfect way to end our road trip! šŸ“šŸ‡

Keri's Chronicles: Day 8 was my birthday! We rode horses before exploring more of Lexington and hanging out in the Distillery District for food and drinks. A great birthday indeed! šŸ“šŸ•šŸ„ƒ

Keri's Chronicles: Day 7 was a big day in Lexington. Kentucky Horse Park is awesome with so many ways to learn about and watch horses. We got to watch some really impressive show jumping there as well. We did a tour and tasting at the James E. Pepper Distillery. Then we wandered around downtown and checked out a bunch of cool bars. Lexington has a great downtown!

Keri's Chronicles: Day 6 started at Keeneland for a morning tour and a chance to see the September Yearling Sale. We then went to the legendary Woodford Reserve for a great tour and tasting. At the end of the night, we wandered around the property we were staying at for a beautiful Lexington sunset.

Keri's Chronicles: Day 5 was all about Mammoth Cave National Park. This was a surreal experience. Walking through a giant cave is not something you get to do everyday. The land around the big cave is also really great hiking land. A must visit for nature lovers.

Keri's Chronicles: Day 4 was an amazing day at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden and a Reds game. The Zoo is honestly incredible. The hippos are the obvious stars but all the animals were very active. My favorites were the king cobra and the brown bears. The Reds game was a great time too! We rode bikes to the stadium and experienced everything Great American Ball Park has to offer. We finished the night with a couple of beers at Hofbrauhaus across from our hotel in Newport.

We really enjoyed Cincinnati. A very underrated city!

Keri's Chronicles: Day 3 was all about going to our first Bengals game. We had a blast tailgating and enjoyed a perfect day for NFL football. Cincinnati is an awesome place to catch a game and downtown is really easy to navigate on gameday. šŸˆ
