At C’est Jolie Dance Company our focus lies in the details.

Our program is designed to leverage individual attention to develop proper technique and body alignment. This is accomplished through technique exercises and skills, custom to each dancer’s needs, that build strength, flexibility, coordination, and muscle awareness to safely and correctly complete higher-level skills. Owner, Anna Busier's, vision encompasses a family of dedicated dancers looking t

o be challenged to reach new personal, team, and competitive goals while also supporting the growth of their teammates. While we do believe proper alignment is key to the success of your dancer, we also believe in providing avenues for them to grow as individuals. All of the dancers, family, and staff at C’est Jolie Dance Company are held responsible for creating a positive growth focused environment. Anna's experience stems from her years as a rhythmic gymnast and dancer, as well as her time spent coaching dance, rhythmic gymnastics, and artistic gymnastics. She is dedicated to her students learning proper technique while building a solid foundation allowing them to excel as a dancer and individual.

As competition season has come to a close for the year, I couldn’t be more proud of these girls. I’ve loved watching them shine on stage and receive well deserved recognition during award ceremonies…but truthfully it’s everything in between that means the most to me. Throughout the year I’ve watched these girls learn to push past their own fears, lift each other up, work on the days they’re tired, show up for themselves, how to give themselves grace and so so much more.

To all of these girls, their families and everyone who makes dance in their life possible, thank you. 💕

This girl shined on stage this weekend 🌟 Congratualtions Harper on finishing top 10 and receiving Elite Gold on both solos!

The weeks leading up to competition were filled with hard practices and lessons of perseverance. She not only showed up on stage but she showed up for herself in practice and I'm so proud of her for that. 💙

Grace has shown her work ethic and passion for dance each and every day this year and it showed tonight at Talent on Parade. Grace competed with a lyrical solo and got diamond, placed 2nd overall in her level, received the heart for dance judges award, and received a TOP Starz invitation!

Building a strong foundation one day at a time because that's what it takes. How we choose to show up in practice each day compounds into the result of meeting our goals or just missing them.

We don't expect each practice to be "perfect", but we do encourage our students to focus on showing up for themselves, trying their best, and showing themselves grace when practice just doesn't seem to go how they hoped.

Hats off to this girl! She has been working hard on her knee arches every day and has shown great improvement in just a couple of weeks! Way to go! 🤩🥳

Knee arches are a great way to build core strength, flexibility, coordination and prepare for other skills like standing bridges, front walkovers, and back walkovers!

When doing knee arches, it is important to keep the hips square and in line with the body (not pushed back). It is also good practice to build the habit of keeping your arms by your ears.

C’est Jolie Dance Company is a local competitive dance company. We also offer dance & acro skills training classes for ages 6-9.

We are committed to our students developing a proper foundation through correct technique and tailored coaching. This is another variation of one of our coordination, extension, and strength exercises. This variation adds two new elements. The first is the core strength challenge of the feet being elevated off of the ground. The second is the coordination of the head following the movement of the ball.

When doing this exercise it is important to make sure your lower back is connected to the floor, your legs are fully extended (all the way through the feet), and you are working to find the connection in your passé.
