Joy Grogan Art Joy is a freelance artist living and creating in Tulsa, OK. Her work is the accumulation of natural occurrences in light, feeling, and nature.

With a heavy emphasis on balance and structure, her work explores the connection between colors while creating visual order through the strategic placement of shapes and space. She is also a graphic designer but finds that she feels more grounded when engaging with the material directly with her hands. Joy is passionate about the unique impact art has on every individual's experience. She believes

that art depicts personality, our inner emotions, and connects us with personal experience, both past, and future. Art establishes a sense of completion and wholeness inside the spaces we dwell.

Film is special.

It holds that memory in the exact moment it was taken.

These are a collection of images from the past two-three years that are my favorite and a couple that are irreplaceable memories for me.

As we make our way into the holiday season, remember to hold your loved ones close, take that photograph with your parents, set your phone down and maybe grab a disposable camera from the drug store and photograph everyone analog style.

You never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

It’s sooo close to being my favorite time of year to photograph!
These images were shot last year apple and pumpkin picking in Porter, Oklahoma which is SO fun!

The pumpkins, the trees, the crisp air, the layers of clothes and cozy blankets 😌

My books are open for fall and in my opinion, it’s the perfect time to capture your family whether it be in your neighborhood that you frequent with walks, making memories at the pumpkin patch or apple picking or cozied up in your home, I’m here for it!
