Bigfoot on 66 Festival - Hosted by RAFT - RedFork Arts Foundry Tulsa. FREE and Open to ALL AGES.

A celebration of art, folklore and the beautifully strange. This FREE community festival invites folks from all ages to wander into a world where creativity runs as wild as the Sasquatch!

What to Expect.... Make & Take workshops at Agitsi Stained Glass , roll up your sleeves and get messy. Air out your lungs and be the champion of 66’s loudest Bigfoot calling contest?!! Art vendors and more!

Fun Route 66 Scavenger Hunt! Route66ArtDrop

Leading up to the festival a 7-foot-tall Bigfoot cutout painted by local artist, Greg Stivers , will be spotted up and down Route 66!

Bigfoot on 66 Festival is about more than a mythical creature, it’s about community, creativity and celebrating the weird corners that make Route 66 iconic.

✨ Pop-Out Grant in Action at Art Emporium 66 ✨

Thanks to a Pop-Out Grant, in Tulsa was able to add new commercial-grade outdoor seating to its Community Gathering Place along Route 66. 🪑🌿

Since installation, the seating has become the centerpiece of the patio, used for lunch breaks, community events and a peaceful rest stop for travelers. The new tables and benches replace old wooden ones and will serve the Historic Red Fork District for years to come.

Another great example of how local shops are creating welcoming spaces and bringing community together beyond their storefronts.

Pop-Out Grants are awarded by Independent Retail Community Initiatives in partnership with the Independent Shopkeepers Association to support community-driven placemaking by local businesses.
