A HUGE thank you to everyone that came out today and auditioned for Nutcracker!! We ended up with a total of 96 incredible kids this morning auditioning!!! It is going to be a great show that you will not want to miss this Christmas season at South Jackson Preforming Arts Center! There will be new dances and some reimagined as we grow to include more young dancers!🎄❤️

✨A sneak peek into Neverland as the kids pulled off a great dress rehearsal last night!✨ Come see their version of Peter Pan at South Jackson TONIGHT and TOMORROW night!!! They have worked so hard and it really shows!!✨💚✨

✨Introducing our beautiful Tiger Lily next! She is the leader of the Florets and Peter Pans right hand lady as they fight the evil Captain Hook and his pirates! Unlike her best friend Tink, she is happy to welcome the Darling’s to Neverland! ✨ Join this wonderful group of dancers as they share the journey of Wendy, John, and Michael being swept away to Neverland! 💚✨ Tickets can be purchased online at South Jackson Preforming Arts Center! It also makes a great way to support our local theatre as all proceeds go to the theatre!! 🎭

🎄As auditions are QUICKLY approaching (this Saturday!) we wanted to remind everyone that this is NOT just for girls or dancers!!! 🎄
There are parts for boys, girls, anyone and everyone no matter your experience that has ever wanted to do it!
We have sword fighting mice 🐭 and soldiers 🗡️, a tumbling jack in the box or candy canes, party scene toys and guests, and guaranteed to be lots of fun along the way!!!
❤️We hope you can join us at South Jackson Preforming Arts Center THIS Saturday! 9am for k-5th and 11am for 6th-12th (based on 2024-2025 school year)!!! ❤️

We will do ballet flats and pointe shoes!
If anyone wants to tumble please be prepared for shoes to tumble on the stage with (no mats)!

Bring a bottle of water and come dressed to dance. Leotards and tights if you have them or leggings and a tshirt/tank! If you do not own ballet shoes yet a pair of socks will work for auditions!

Remember this is for everyone no matter previous dance experience and we always need girls and boys!!!
