We want to invite you to a fun upcoming evening on Saturday, January 27th. It's Visalia Vintage & Antiques' first Sip n’ Shop of the year! From 4 pm to 7 pm, patrons can enjoy fantastic beer and wine pours at no cost; any donations received at this event will directly benefit the Visalia Veteran’s Committee, and you must be 21 years of age to be served.
For this Sip n’ Shop event, we will warmly welcome back Kaweah Brewing Company! Their facility, located on East Walnut Ave in Tulare, CA, produces various beers that have become quite popular over the years, consistently winning awards from the West to the East Coast for some incredible, unique, and robust flavors, including smooth & creamy. Attendees can enjoy two different beers from Kaweah; the first will be their well-liked Kolsch-style Golden Ale called 'Neva Say Neva,' with subtle hints of honey and malt; the second one 'Holy Toledo' a hop-forward but balanced IPA bursting with tropical fruit, citrus, and pine flavors!
For our wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs, Visalia Vintage & Antiques is pleased to announce Nunes Wine Company to our venue! The locally based outfit is owned by Valley resident, businessman, and former United States Representative Mr. Devin Nunes. His beginnings started right here in Tulare County, where he grew up working on the family farm, which involved a well-known dairy operation, Nunes & Son’s, spanning for decades.
Mr. Konnor Henslee, current Nunes Wine Company Manager, will be present at Visalia Vintage & Antiques Sip n’ Shop on Saturday, January 27th, where two of the company’s wines will be offered. The first one attendees can select is their Central Coast Red, a blend of red Portuguese varieties from Devin's preferred vineyards on California's Central Coast. The nose is stacked with lively notes of lavender, raspberry, pomegranate, dried herb, and smoked cedar. A second available choice will be the ‘Patriot,’ a small batch Cabernet Sauvignon from the famed Santa Margarita Ranch AVA of Paso Robles. This wine is loaded with complex aromas of dark fruits, pomegranate, black olive, juniper berry, and toasted oak.
Well, we hope you have enjoyed reading our Sip n’ Shop preview, along with some great history about people and business here in Tulare County. We will all see you soon, and thank you so much for the unwavering support you continue giving us and the Visalia Veterans Committee!
Blessings to you,
Management
