I’ve been working on a few traditional-inspired designs and wanted to share some of the finished concepts.

I like working with imagery that’s been part of tattooing for a long time and finding different ways to approach it without losing what makes the original imagery work.

-Promotion is $250 for up to a 2 hour session or design equivalent. Determined by size, detail, and placement

-Can be applied to start bigger projects with all other sessions being at regular price

-$250 deposit must be paid to secure appointment and begin design process

-Promotional appointments are non transferable to other clients or artists and remain subject to Spark Project Collective’s rescheduling, no-show, and cancellation policies

We’re out of the studio this weekend for a pretty good reason.

The Spark Project Collective crew will be at Comic-Con all weekend tattooing flash, so the shop will be closed while we’re there.

If you’re heading to Comic-Con, come find us, look through the flash, and say hi. I’ll be tattooing throughout the weekend.

The studio will reopen after the event and we’ll be back to our regular schedule.

A tattoo appointment doesn’t have to feel tense from beginning to end.

Some people talk. Some put on headphones. Some close their eyes and relax while I work.

There’s no right way to spend the appointment. Once we’ve made the decisions and you’re comfortable with the plan, you’re allowed to just settle in.

What’s your ideal tattoo appointment: conversation, headphones, or eyes closed?

Getting tattooed probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when you think about relaxing.

But once we’re settled in and everything is going smoothly, some clients get surprisingly comfortable.

I’ll take someone closing their eyes and relaxing while I work as a pretty good sign.

One of the things I genuinely enjoy about tattooing is the people.

Every appointment has its own energy. Sometimes there’s a lot of conversation and laughing. Sometimes it’s a quieter few hours.

Either way, getting to do work I care about while sharing that time with good people is something I appreciate.

Some appointments are quiet and focused. Others come with good conversation and a lot of laughing.

I enjoy both.

What makes a tattoo appointment a good experience for you?

Getting tattooed doesn’t have to feel like an endurance event.

Get comfortable. Bring something to drink. Settle in.

Some clients talk through the whole appointment, some put on headphones, and some are perfectly happy hanging out with a drink while I work.

Whatever helps you settle in is usually fine with me.
