On deck for today’s client, (L-R) we have a custom Mondell Johnny Zapp model, an ‘01 Gibson Firebird V, my treasured 1967 Gibson ES-335, and a Reuter Guitars custom Tele that still has Nita’s Hideaway and Long Wong’s mojo trapped inside. Grievous Angels anyone?

Growing up in Huntington Beach in the ‘80s, not only were Dogtown Skateboards our preferred method of transportation, but we also - at 12 years old - would pile drums, guitars and amps on them to get them from house to house. Now, they live in the lounge at Zapp City for our clients to rip it up in the parking lot at break time!

Small amp, big sound! At Zapp City, we have a collection of 40-ish tube amps from as far back as the early 1950s, and as small as a single 6” speaker, to 4x12s and single 15s! No amp modelers here, baby! Harmony, Gibson, Supro, Vox…

New edition to the library in our lounge at Zapp City Studios. I just finished this one, and all I can say is wow. Oh, and as the Pretenders song Thumbelina would allude, Chrissie Hynde in fact lived in Tucson for a minute. Recommend.
