Amor is a celebration of love in all its forms.
Romantic, platonic, self-love, community, longing, joy, & everything in between.

This group exhibition brings together local artists exploring connection, emotion, & the quiet moments that shape how we care for one another. Through painting, photography, mixed media, & more,
Amor invites you to feel deeply, reflect openly, & experience love beyond a single definition.

Join us for an evening of art, conversation, & community as we open the doors to a show rooted in passion, vulnerability, & human connection.

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. 🥲

These art nights have really been something really special. Watching people show up, create, connect, experiment, & make this space their own has meant everything to us! Thank you to every artist, every friend, every first timer, & every familiar face who helped bring life into the gallery this year.

What started as a silly idea is turning into a community, & we’re incredibly thankful for everyone who’s helped build it alongside us.

As we wrap up this year, we are feeling proud, grounded, & so very excited. We absolutely can’t wait to see what the new year brings & to keep growing this space together with our amazing community.

🌤️ Ward 3 Winter Warming Center Donation Drive ❄️

Tucson, we’re teaming up to support our neighbors who need a safe, warm place on these cold winter mornings. The Ward 3 Winter Warming Center (1510 E Grant Rd) is open Mon–Fri, 5–9am, offering warmth, coffee, breakfast, community connection, and real resource support for anyone who needs it.

We’re collecting donations to help keep our community comfortable, cared for, and seen. Items that make all the difference:

🐾 For our four-legged friends:
Dog leashes, booties, sweaters, dog food, waste bags, dog toys

☕ Warmth & breakfast:
Coffee grounds (for a large pot), single-serve oatmeal/quick breakfast items
Insulated mugs people can take and bring back

🛌 Cold-weather essentials:
Sleeping bags, tents (huge need), hand warmers, small tarps, 550 cord/bungees

🧼 Hygiene & personal care:
Travel-size hygiene items, backpacks

🔦 Everyday support:
Small flashlights + batteries, haircut vouchers, laundry vouchers
Honestly, anything that makes life a little easier on the street.

If you can give, big or small, it matters and makes a difference. Let’s keep showing what loving community really looks like. ❤️

Drop offs accepted all month long, please bring them to Desert Garden Collective (2452 N Pantano Rd) or the Warming Center on Grant. We are so powerful when we work together. Thank you for taking care of Tucson with us!

Please join The Desert Garden Collective in the next Show Opening at the Desert Garden Gallery containing an enchanting art collection that celebrates

Día De Los Mu***os 💀

An exhibition that goes beyond appreciation of the traditional Mexican holiday. Typically celebrated on November 1st & 2nd, with November 1st honoring children (Día de los Angelitos) & November 2nd honoring adults. Celebrations involve setting up ofrendas (altars) with food, drinks, & personal gifts, visiting cemeteries to clean & decorate graves, & sharing meals & music with family. The holiday views death as a natural part of the human experience & uses the celebration to honor ancestors & bring families together. The tradition dates back over 3,000 years & has been passed down through many generations.

We will have an Ofrenda available to the community, so bring photos of loved ones & something they loved. Live musical performances & other activities with light refreshments will be provided for all! This is a FREE family friendly event.

Over 20 local Artists are on display! Many of the exhibiting artists will be in attendance on Friday. 🎨
