Check this out! We made the news today!

It's a big night for some Rincon/University High School students. Tuesday, March 10th, the choir will hold a farewell concert before heading to perform on the Carnegie Hall stage in New York City.

HAPPENING TONIGHT!

CHOIR FAREWELL CONCERT

Please come and hear our amazing Concert Choir as they perform the music that will be performed on the infamous Carnegie Hall stage in New York City.

This is a great opportunity for family and supporters who will not be able to attend the Carnegie Hall performance on March 15th to get to enjoy the music live.

This concert will also feature special guest community choir, Encore, as well as our Beginning Mixed Chorus, Adv. Women’s Ensemble and Choraliers!

Tuesday March 10th at 6:30 p.m. in the RUHS Auditorium

The RUHS Adv Women's Choir and Choraliers are part of the Carmina Burana performances with Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra and will be performing on Wednesday, Nov. 13th at 7 pm in the RUHS Auditorium ($10 at the door). The Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra is working with choirs from Rincon University, Cienega and Marana high schools.

Today the RUHS choir students will participating in the Tucson Barbershop Youth in Harmony Festival being held on the RUHS campus. This includes all-day clinics to learn songs in the barbershop style (an authentic American musical art form in four part a ca****la harmony). The festival concludes with a FREE concert at 5:00 pm in the RUHS Auditorium. Come check it out!

A day-long festival teaching songs in the Barbershop style to southern Arizona high school and college aged youth.
