RinCon 2026 Day One (Friday): The Photodump
Because we miss you so much already 😭
The con was LEGENDARY (last time I'll say it, I promise) this year, and we welcomed over 675 gamers to our tables. We had over 600 game sessions, dozens of creator-led games, a strong group of vendors, and so many good memories.
THANK YOU to all our attendees, volunteers, special guests, board members, vendors, mini-gamers, and everyone that made it EPIC this year.
And if you didn't hear... next year's theme is: DINOSAURS!
We'll be prepping some truly Triassic levels of fun for 2027.
In the meantime, we hope to see you at our bimonthly (every other month) Family Game Days and MOD Pizza Game Days. Sure, they're fundraisers that help us secure special programming for the Con. But it's also a way to get together with RinCon friends and play games throughout the year.
See you in 2027, gamers!

Thanks to Thatcher for interviewing us and hanging out on Day 1 of RinCon this year!
Check out his article in Arizona Public Media here:

For players and game creators, the RinCon gaming convention is a mecca for testing prototypes, discovering new games and meeting fellow gamers.

Hey, look! Our special guest’s game is on sale! If you played it at the con with Michael Eskue this past weekend, or even if you didn’t get a chance to, take a look!

Step right up to The Ticket Booth! Spend tickets to claim attraction piles, build your midway, collect the largest sets, and earn points by holding the majority when the round ends. Every choice matters as you balance spending tickets, drafting attractions, and using action cards to stay one step...

☀️1 Day Til RinCon☀️

We're one wake-up away from the best gaming weekend in Tucson!

These three maps will help you navigate your way to RinCon.

First, an image showing how to get to the parking garage at Casino Del Sol on West Valencia Road. The parking garage is right by the ballrooms where RinCon is hosted.

Second, an image showing the layout of the casino campus, including both hotel towers (Del Sol and Estrella), all restaurants, casino floor, parking, and more.

Lastly, a layout of RinCon this year. You'll see the RPG ballroom, Women's Space, Sensory Safe Space, Artemis, Panel Room, Patio, Exhibitor Hall, and Gaming Hall.

We are so excited to see you all tomorrow!

☀️2 Days Til RinCon!☀️

Make sure you have what you need to take care of yourself at a weekend-long event.

No matter what, you'll need:
- An electronic device on which to display the ticket and QR code
or
- A paper copy of your ticket

Items to manage your own needs:
- A water bottle
- An extra layer of clothing (it gets chilly in the rooms)
- Medications
- Comfort seating like lumbar support or cushions
- Headphones if you need them
- Mobility devices (even ones you use infrequently - the conference center is large and spread out)
- Comfy shoes (ditto)
- A handheld fan if you tend to overheat
- Glasses (the print size on game materials can be obnoxiously small)

And of course, RinCon is the best it can be when you bring:
- Gaming supplies (dice + tray, writing implements + paper, games you want to get to the table)
- Your sense of fun and excitement to play games together

See you soon!

☀️4 DAYS TIL RINCON!☀️

One of the highlights of RinCon's TTRPG space is our Indie RPG Arcade.

Some of the games available this year include: Mothership, Agon, Hypermall Unlimited Violence, Maskwitches of Forgotten Doggerland, Elder Mythos, Zhenya's Wonder Tales, Chasing Adventure... and many, many, many, many more.

Paul Beakley is a GM for this year's Arcade and had this to share: "My favorite thing about the Arcade is that it exposes me to games I've never heard of and experiences I wouldn't normally seek out. I trust that I'll always get something interesting!

When I run a thing, it's always fun to watch folks really get hooked on something new, a new way of playing, or a new way of thinking about games. For me, what the Arcade represents in the broader RPG space is that we (tabletop roleplayers) can and should always keep exploring and expanding what's possible. We've barely scratched the surface."
