π Rest Easy, Johnny... π
Last night, heaven gained one of the realest ones. My friend, my brother, Juan Enos β most of us knew him simply as Johnny β left this world, and my heart is heavy in ways words can barely touch.
Man... where do I even begin. Growing up in 90's running around the rez like we owned every inch of it. Johnny was ALWAYS there. You couldn't have a memory from those days without him being somewhere in it β laughing the loudest, keeping the energy alive, just being HIM. That laugh. God, that laugh. Once Johnny started, everybody started. You couldn't help it.
And the reggae parties?? π΅ Those nights were everything. The music, the people, the desert air β and Johnny right there in the middle of it all, feeling every beat like it was made just for him. That man had a soul that was perfectly tuned to reggae music. It wasn't just music to him β it was life. Family events, community gatherings β wherever our Tohono O'odham family came together, Johnny brought his whole heart to it.
To his family β please know that Johnny was so deeply loved beyond your walls. He touched lives across this community in ways he probably never even knew. We grieve WITH you. You are not alone in this.
Fly high, Johnny. Save me a spot at the best reggae party up there. πΏποΈ And Tell My Father Hi Up there
