Tuesday, September 1, we’re taking over La Rosa to celebrate Pete’s 41st trip around the sun AND the release of Sparrows & The Last Train’s new record, Under Sonoran Skies with special guests Sweet Ghosts.

We’ve been working on this album for a long time. It’s finished. It’s at the press. And now it’s time to send it out into the world properly — with a room full of friends, a big ol’ band, and a night of music at La Rosa.

Sparrows & The Last Train celebrate the release of their new album, Under Sonoran Skies, with a special full-length concert at La Rosa with support from Sweet Ghosts on September 1st! Nearly 18 months in the making, the 10-song album is an expression of what the Tucson ensemble calls “Sonoran Soul from the Postmodern American West” ... music grounded in the desert and in the lives and shared memory of the borderlands, while looking toward what lies ahead.
