On Saturday Kevin went to local estate sale put on by The Girls Estate Sales . He noticed this sign was attached to metal hanger on door with no price. He kindly asked employees, and sure enough he could purchase it. The sign is obviously a “Do Not Disturb” from hotel in Merida Yucatán, Mexico. But what imeaditly attracted Kevin’s eye was the font used and the clever joyful illustration of the siesta Jaguar. Reminiscent of many type fonts created during the later 1960’s thru the first half of the 1970’s Mexico. Kevin just can’t get enough of it!
Forgive this is not for sale, show and tell only.
Amongst the examples shared is “Fray Gabriel” by Gabriel Chávez de la Mora, the founding monk of the famous of Cuernavaca, Mexico.
