“Now I Know How to Do That!” 🙌🏾

There’s a difference between someone doing something FOR you and someone teaching you how to do it YOURSELF.

That’s what we want for our seniors.

Whether it’s sending an attachment, recognizing a suspicious email, joining a Zoom meeting, adjusting a phone setting, or navigating something online—we want you to leave saying:

“Okay! Now I know how to do that.”

That’s independence.

That’s confidence.

That’s Senior Planet at Dunbar.

Send Your Mama to Us! 😂💜

Think about the older adult in your life who calls you whenever something happens with their phone, tablet or laptop.

You know exactly who we’re talking about. 😂

Send them to us!

Better yet—bring them.

Senior Planet helps older adults build the confidence to navigate technology for themselves.

But it’s about more than devices.

We’re creating a place to learn, connect, laugh, enjoy a snack, meet people, and keep growing.

Would You Join Us Virtually? 💻

SENIOR PLANET FAMILY — WE HAVE A QUESTION!

We know everyone can’t always make it to Dunbar in person.

So we’re curious...

If Senior Planet offered some classes VIRTUALLY, would you participate?

Maybe transportation is difficult.

Maybe you’re more comfortable learning from home.

Maybe a virtual option would simply fit your schedule better.

We want to hear from you!

Drop a YES in the comments if you’d be interested.

And tell us: What technology topic would you like to learn virtually?

We’re checking interest right now—virtual classes haven’t been announced yet.

A historic address with room for what's next.

I think that describes the Dunbar pretty well.

We honor what happened here before us. We also understand that preserving this campus means keeping it alive, active and useful for generations to come.

Today, the Dunbar is a place for history, arts, business, community and connection.

And yes, you can have your office here.

We are currently leasing professional office space.

Bring That Phone and Tablet!

Bring that phone or tablet you've been fussing at. 😂📱

The one that updated itself and now you can't find anything.

The one with 4,327 unread emails.

The one that keeps asking you for a password you know you wrote down somewhere.

Bring it to Dunbar.

Senior Planet is a place where you can ask your technology questions without feeling rushed or embarrassed.

Our group learning happens Mondays at 10 AM and 1 PM, and we're also providing opportunities for individual support on Saturdays.

Technology changes. You can keep learning right along with it.
