The entertainers behind the curtain are Dr. Lawless (aka DJ Lawless, Chromewolf, and that skinny jerk). The good Doc has been a club DJ on and off since 1999, starting in the high glamor 80's DJ scene (starting his Razor 80's night at the Underground in Colorado Springs.) Several years of spinning a number of clubs in Colorado, he relocated back to Arizona, spinning at clubs throughout the Phoenix
and Scottsdale area for a few years before moving to Tucson to join the DJ team at a dedicated goth industrial club called Club Asylum. Two years there doing a variety of Industrial nights and an updated version of the Razor 80's night with some other awesome DJ's, the Doc stepped away from the decks to get a stable job, buy a house, and try and reign in his crazy life...but a quite life was not in the cards, in 2011, with an updated DJ system, and desire to help rebuild a fantastic scene he created the Underworld Revel. Joining him initially was Lady Lestat, a vision of pale vampy beauty and an affinity for the poppier side of goth, she brings a great change of pace, and plays a lot of tunes that are great for the goth/industrial newbie to cut their teeth on, and learn what the scene has to offer. Our latest personality is DJ/VJ NoirTech. His years of experience in not only the DJing field but the show promotions field made him an ideal addition, bringing his vision to the Underworld Revel show. (More to come as I make him tell me about how great he is.) What you can expect from an Underworld Revel night is great music from bands like Assemblage 23, VNV Nation, Aesthetic Perfection, Wolfsheim and Skinny Puppy, a sprinking of classic 80s dark new wave, a new video show, and the Underworld Revel hosts bringing you a night of more than just a place to dance. Your involvement is always welcome, be it dressing for the theme, letting us know what songs you want to hear, or bringing your own creative expressions to dazzle the other partiers.
