On Sunday July 12th, MissGay ArizonaAmerica awarded Miss Gay Tucson America as Prelim of the Year for the 2025 season. On behalf of Diva (Tatiana Blanco) and Louie Granillo, we are so appreciative of this award. Thank you Chris Mort and Daniel W. Eckstrom. This last season marked the 40th anniversary of Miss Gay Tucson America. It was a pageant 40 years in the making. Thank you to all the contestants, the formers, the sponsors, and everyone who came out to support the pageant. This award is dedicated to the Tucson community who always show up and show out for the America system.
For this year, we also would like to individually thank a few people for making the 2025 pageant possible. Thank you Nikole Yvonne Blanco, Dixon DuMay, Daniel Hdez, and Blake Allen for the work you put in and supporting this momentous event.
Also, we want to extend a huge shout out and congratulations to Miss Gay Tucson America 2025 Ezmeralda Feliz and 1st Alternate MGTA 25 Melon for their placements at Miss Gay Arizona America. You both showed what Tucson is about. We are so proud of you. Both placing top 5 on their first time at the state pageant.
Ezmeralda Felix, congratulations on placing 4th overall. Also placing 2nd in talent. You lit up the stage and had us on our feet. You left us all on the stage and just like a true performer, made it all look effortless. You are defining your legacy as MGTA.
Melon, congratulations on placing 3rd overall. Also, placing 3rd on Interview and 3rd in talent. You are a unique contestant with humor like no one else. You are unapologetically you and you showed that on stage.
