A 2-fold post: This is in honor of Apollo, one of our studio cats who's life ended in June. He was born in the studio and kept everyone super involved for 14+ years. With his declining health, I drew him as an astronaut, knowing that in the near future he would be amongst the unknown beyond.

I have a new batch of mugs made with my special blend of red clays! These have a carved ridge in the foot that works a bit like a calming finger rub, and doubles as a way to not catch water after washing. I'm thrilled that these are available at in Sedona (the perfect place to resonate with red clay)!

These are a few raku pieces that I fired at workshop. I still need to clean and polish the vases. I know what to do better next time! And i am ready to join another workshop this fall!
