Miguel Gandert exhibition is up!

Opening this Saturday, June 22, 2-5:00 pm!

This is the 40th Anniversary of Andrew Smith Gallery exhibiting Miguel's work. Gandert is one of the leading documentary photographers of Chicano Culture in the Southwest.

This will be the final exhibition at Andrew Smith Gallery, beginning in September we will scale back to a by-appointment private dealer status. The gallery will continue working with large collections and important historic and classic photography. We will also continue representing our contemporary artists: Miguel Gandert, Zig Jackson, Shelley Niro, Victor Masayesva Jr., and Barbara Van Cleve, as well as the estates of Patrick Nagatani and George Gardner.

This exhibition celebrates Andrew Smith Gallery exhibiting Barbara's photographs for 40 years! Come meet this incredible photographer and see her wonderful show. Barbie (as her friends call her) released a group of vintage silver gelatin prints she's been holding onto for this special show.

"Shelley Niro: Film and Photography" is open! Come on down to see this incredible exhibition!

Also, join us on Friday at 5:00 at The Screening Room for a showing of Shelley's thoughtful, moving, and funny coming-of-age film "The Incredible 25th Year of Mitzi Bearclaw." It's screening as part of the Arizona International Film Festival and Shelley will be in attendance for a Q&A after the film. Link for tickets in our bio.
