🕷️“Born of Nightmares"

As comes to an end join us for the last day of this honestly, emotional, Exhibition!

🕷️A look into the ugly side of mental illness that torments not only me, but multiple others. “Born of Nightmares” aims to start a conversation surrounding the “ugly” side of mental health. In a society where mental health is glamorized and romanticized, “Born of Nightmares” brings to light the disgusting, scary, and downright ugly side of mental illness that is still stigmatized and ignored.

🕷️Delving deep into the horrifying realities that come from living with multiple mental illnesses, my work sheds light on the side of mental illness that is often ignored or, in most cases, looked down upon and criticized. Using distorted human figures, blood, gore, and violent imagery, I shed light and give a face to the monsters that haunt every waking moment of my life. But by using extreme and graphic imagery, alongside messy materials like charcoal and ink, it helps to show the dark and ugly side of what its like to suffer from mental illness.

This month is Mental Health Awareness Month come be apart of the conversation and help remove the stigma of mental disorders 🕷️

The 7 Legged Spider Gallery and Malachi Fedunak present “Born of Nightmares" a look into the ugly side of mental illness that torments not only me, but multiple others. “Born of Nightmares” aims to start a conversation surrounding the “ugly” side of mental health. In a society where mental health is glamorized and romanticized, “Born of Nightmares” brings to light the disgusting, scary, and downright ugly side of mental illness that is still stigmatized and ignored.
