My little mini me is on the next chapter of her apprenticeship, getting her a step closer to stabbing YOUR flesh! But before she could start the fun, I wanted to make sure she knew her machine… so I completely took it apart while she was out of town 🤭

Came back from my wonderful solo trip North to so many rad projects and a new found inspiration towards my own craft. I could go on for hours on how a change of environment, even temporary, was the bliss my little brain needed to get back into the swing of things with a momentum I’ve been trying to force for a couple months now.
10/10 recommend touching some grass and breathing new air.

👁️PERCEPTION👁️
When explorin’ the wastes you gotta be paying attention to ensure you don’t miss the spare Jet or caps around! Being a Handler for the ever so lovely Benjamin at conventions is a true test to how well I’m paying attention to my surroundings so he doesn’t trample an excited kid or trip over another persons costume- arguably one of my favorite parts of the convention ☢️✨
I chose to add Rex to the main part of this flash as I totally can argue how he’s the best boy in the Wastes keeping an eye on your 6! The design is already in flesh, but wouldn’t be upset about tattooing another design like this ☢️
So much more fallout coming as I’ll be at more fallout related things these next few months 💙💛💙💛

Inspired is the biggest take away I have after attending Mark Maggiori ‘s solo show and auction.
Marks work and attention to detail, movement, color has ALWAYS inspired me- as he was the biggest inspiration with my latest piece “Wonder”.
I was able to get close and personal with his pieces, a genuine luxury and privilege. I was able to hear in his own words his “La Voix/La Voie” and his connection to his works. I also witness him make HISTORY with his 9 million dollar auction. Shaking his hand was surreal as we briefly talked about Alaska and his “hunt for the grizzly”.
Thank you, Mark, for being an inspiring so many creatives and for an unforgettable weekend for all who witnessed your show.

Projects, finished pieces and life as of late! Grateful to have such a spectrum of fun pieces in the works, definitely had to share just a few of them 🌸💘💖
I have a little bit more travel planned for this year for some personal events- but books are getting full fast!

Oh how I love this painting, and oh so grateful the collective at Gila Tattoo Expo loved it just the same!
This piece has too many hours to even count in it- I’d work on it after a full day of tattooing, spend an entire day off working on it even. This piece pushed me far outside of my comfort zone, but additionally helped me learn so much with acrylic medium as a whole.
Acrylic is my all time favorite medium- but at a scale like this it was hell coming back onto the canvas after a day and trying to mix that perfect shade of pale grey teal or muted earth tones.
Bringing this to Gila, I heard so many interpretations of this piece and all of them were so beautiful. I love the love this piece has for it and I’m so grateful it had an opportunity to share a stage with some other INSANE pieces at this show.

Oh Hudson, you are so kind to me.
Second year going up for my annual guest spot and the love that surrounds and is within ANCHORS END TATTOO is profound.
Biggest thank you to the ever so talented and kind 𝙹 𝙴 𝚂 𝚂 𝙴 𝙱 𝙰 𝚁 𝙺 𝚈 𝙾 𝚄 𝙼 𝙱 for making sure I had a comfortable bed to rest my head on and every little thing I may need to work out of his beautiful shop. It is such a privilege to simply watch him and his collective work.
Another big shoutout to my giggly friends who make it so goddamn hard to leave, Stephanie 🌸 Pyon htwe Jack | Tattoo Artist and Taryn Madison . You guys are some of the most incredible strangers I have the luxury to now call friends 💖🌸
Leaving the Tucson heat was a much needed charge on my homesick soul- and getting to meet new faces who showed me true Mid-West hospitality was a big sweet cherry on top.

The shop celebrated it’s 2nd birthday, and you all reminded us what love we have here at Duality Tattoo 💖
Two+ years ago Danny Matlock and I chased a shared vision, and we couldn’t imagine for a second we’d be here.
Duality has been my biggest blessing and best pain in the ass. From day one this has been the true challenge to myself as a human, an artist, a friend. I have gone home many a night late as hell unsure if I have the ability to do the boss s**t- but my crew, my clients, my friends, my family… you ALL have showed me love in a way that’s so fu***ng raw it makes me emotional every goddamn time I think about it.
Today you all reminded me, us, the love we have here. Thank you for not just giving myself and Danny the ability to have a rad lil joint- but my crew the ability to pursue their passions, to feed their families, to know community and love the way you always show.
Thank you for believing in us, supporting us- throwing our business cards out, putting our stickers in your favorite dive bar bathrooom.
My gratitude can spill on for paragraphs, but know that I could cry at any given moment knowing how blessed I am to be a part of YOUR life, to create for a living, and to have this collection of cool dudes sparking a new joy for me nearly everyday.
Much fu***ng love Tucson. Cheers to many more years to come.
