This morning, Fighting For The Title stepped beyond the Brio stage and into the community. 🎭🎀

On behalf of Brio Theater, Delores Burgess had the honor of performing a special song and scene from Fighting For The Title at the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners Meeting, in recognition of Arts Awareness for Commissioner LaDena Bolton.

A beautiful reminder that the arts do more than entertain—they give our stories a voice, bring communities together, and create space for healing. 💗

We’re honored to share a piece of Delores’ story and the work happening at Brio with our DeKalb County community.

The fight continues. The story continues. The arts matter. 🥊🎭

Hearing how Fighting For The Title made you laugh, cry, reflect and feel seen means more than we can put into words.

This isn’t just Delores’ story anymore. Every survivor, caregiver, family member and person who has ever had to fight brings their own story into that theater—and that’s what makes this experience so special.
