In Michoacán, particularly in the Purépecha region, Catrinas are created by local artisans using materials such as clay, papier-mâché, wood, and fabric. These works of art are decorated with bright, vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and detailed accessories, reflecting the region's rich cultural heritage and artistic traditions.
