SUMMER TRACKS ANNOUNCES 26th SEASON LINE-UP -
FIRST CONCERT JUNE 5.
Polk County’s most popular music series—Summer Tracks—presents another great summer of live music at Roger’s Park. The series starts off extra hot in June with performances by Sweet Megg on June 5 and Florencia & The Feeling on June 19, both making their debut appearances at Summer Tracks. Monologging Magazine says Sweet Megg and her band seem as “though they were plucked from a smoke-filled Prohibition-era speakeasy rather than formed on the New York City music scene.” Vents Magazine calls Florencia & the Feeling “pure, unadulterated fun.”
July comes in with a bang with Firecracker Jazz Band on July 3 and goes out in a swoon of luscious sound with Lillie Syracuse and her amazing band on July 17. Lillie’s voice and music have been described as “a velvet stream of joy, grief, and love.” August has audiences rocking out to The Get Right Band on August 7 and a nostalgic tribute to Bonnie Raitt by Peggy Ratusz and her talented friends on August 21.
New View Realty is the presenting sponsor for the series. More information on each show—including performer’s bios and photos—can be found at www.summertracks.com and https://www.facebook.com/SummerTracksTryonNC. All shows begin at 7 p.m. Alcohol consumption is allowed in the park, but alcohol is not for sale. A suggested donation along with many local business and individual sponsors make these shows possible.
Summer Track’s 2026 schedule:
June 5: Sweet Megg
June 19: Florencia & The Feeling
July 3: Firecracker Jazz Band
July 17: Lillie Syracuse Band
August 7: The Get Right Band
August 21: Love Letter – Bonnie Raitt Tribute

The first Summer Tracks featuring the Aaron Burdett Band kicks off tonight at 7 pm. My crew worked hard hanging the banners in the park this morning as evidenced by these photos. Huckleberry's will be selling delicious food and it's OK to bring beer & wine. We do NOT sell alcohol. Spread the word and come join in the fun.

Hey, weather's looking good for an outdoor concert in Rogers Park tonight. Can't wait to see you there. Should that change, our rain location is the Pavilion in the lower level of the Tryon Fine Arts Center at 34 Melrose Ave. If sky looks iffy, check back here after 4 pm.

Today's Summer Tracks will rock out with "Sweet Summer Rock & Soul R***e". It features Peggy Ratusz, Reggie Headen and Jonathan Pearlman fronting a 6 piece band.
I know everyone is watching the weather and at this point I’m planning to have the concert in the park. But if a rain front appears like it will be stationary during showtime I will move the concert inside the Tryon Fire Station which is across the street from the park. It is ok to bring food and drink into the station but no alcohol is allowed. I recommend bringing chairs if we have to move, but also pack umbrellas and rain gear if we just have a passing shower in the park. I will make the call by 4 pm if we have to move inside. I will post the info on Facebook in my feed and on this Summer Tracks page.

One other change for today is that Chef Sharone will be providing food. She shares space with Huckleberry’s in Tryon and I know many of you have been there. Huckleberry’s is also offering take-out picnics that you can order from them. You can find Chef Sharone at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61557180013142

Here’s the tasty menu she just sent me:
Gourmet slider trio - $12
- Ham, prosciutto, and brie with arugula
- Deluxe Italian
- Beef Bresaola with Cheddar
Charcuterie snack boxes - $10
Carolina kettle chips - $3
Water - $1
Soft Drinks - $3

My hard working crew just finished hanging banners in Rogers Park to be ready for tonight's concert featuring the Maya de Vitry Band. Weather is about perfect! Kirk's Kitchen will be returning with their food truck. I think the photos I've added show what I mean when I say there's not a prettier small amphitheater in the region. We'll be in the shade by showtime. www.summertracks.com
