Portrait and gallery artist Rich Nelson will have recent work showing at the Depot Room in Tryon, North Carolina beginning Tuesday, November 20, 2018. The Room is open Monday through Friday from 9-5, and by appointment at other times. There will be a Holiday Reception on Friday, December 14, from 5-8pm.

Two artists and friends, Ann Degara of Brevard and Keith Spencer of Tryon are exhibiting new work at The Depot, 22 Depot St in Tryon! The public is invited to an opening reception hosted by the artists on Friday evening Oct 12 from 5-7 PM. This exhibit can be seen during business hours Monday through Fridays through November 15th.

New Work from the Thurdsay Painters at The Depot
The public is invited to attend an opening of the Thursday Painters Art Exhibit at the Depot Room on Friday, July 27 from 5-7 PM.
Led by Patricia Cole Ferullo, this group of "seriously playful" water color artists is preparing to present an exciting exhibit of their recent works.
The six artists are: Joan Feagan, Linda Byington, Harriet Spencer, Susan Hopps, Patty Holl, and Anne DeSutter. The Depot Room is located at 22 Depot St and the art can be seen from 10-5 weekdays. Paintings will be on display until August 31. Please use the deck entrance.

You are invited to an opening at The Depot on Friday, June 22 from 5-7PM. Meghan Pauley Nespeca will be hosting a show of her textile pieces which she states “are rooted in the everyday and the exceptional”.

Hand dying, painting on both fabric and paper, stamping and personal writings are all components of her work.

The show can also be seen during business hours through Friday, July 19. The Depot is located at 22 Depot St in Tryon NC. Please use the deck entrance.

Friday Night, Sept 8! Thursday Painters at the Depot in Tryon 5-7PM. The Thursday Painters is a group of seriously playful watercolor artists who meet weekly at The Ferullo Fine Art Studio 140 Pacolet Street. They have been painting together since 2009, first meeting at the Introduction to Expressive Watercolor class at Isothermal Community College in Columbus.

The Thursday Painters exhibiting their new works are; Linda Byington, Joan Feagan, Patty Holl, Susan Hopps and Harriet Spencer. Other class members include; Pilar Pace, Lanie King, Anne De Sutter and Judy Farr.

The exhibit can be seen during business hours Mon-Friday from 10am -5pm. until October 4. Please enter through the event entrance on the deck through the Depot Plaza.

The Public is invited when"Double Take" opens Friday, March 3 from 5-7pm at the Depot Room in Tryon, 22 Depot Street. Lori Heckelman and Grace Lertora's show will run through March 28th, during business hours, Mon-Fri from 10am-5pm.

Lori Heckelman's imagery draws from the bright colors and rich earth tones of the land forms and cultures of the American Southwest. She often uses the images of horses not only to establish scale but also as a symbol that embodies what she perceives to be the essence , spiritually ad physically of the America West.

Grace Lertora was born in Argentina, with the love of vibrant color, pattern and textures. As a collage and mixed media artist she expresses her interest in colors and her interaction with the world, evokes abstract and traditional work.
