Built in 1938, the Tryon Theatre is located in Historic Downtown Tryon, NC. In the recent past it was lovingly renovated and upgraded to state-of-the-art standards. It is a nexus of social and economic activity in Tryon and a heck of a lot of fun, too. Unfortunately, it is currently closed by mandate of the State of North Carolina in order to fight the Corona virus and Covid-19. It will re-open when staff and patrons feel safe going to the movies again.
